While the rest of the Silver City series was told from a werewolf perspective, here comes from a witch perspective – His Blazing Witch novel by Jenny Fox. His Blazing Witch tells about Mara, a witch who doesn’t remember the crime that everyone is accusing her of or her background when she wakes up.
On top of that, she needs to find answers quickly with her damaged body despite having no memory of her former life. She wakes up in Silver City, a city where humans and werewolves are enemies, but she is neither one of them for she is a witch. A furious, deadly fire witch who at first was unlearned of her own power.
Later on, many arsons occur around the City, and Mara is forced to flee due to her increasing power which she cannot control. She is self-conscious and is troubled by the gloom of a witch’s realm. Is she truly at fault? Mara, who is being pursued both by humans and witches has to locate Liam Black, the Witch Hunter, the only man who can help her in proving her innocence. His Blazing Witch has an exciting, straightforward premise. Here, readers could easily get that our hero and heroine are two opposite individuals pulled by need and circumstances.
How could a witch hunter fall in love with a witch who’s being accused of arson and tragedies happening in the city? How could two different creatures fall for each other? And how would love to cross through those differences? This is what His Blazing Witch will attempt to show. It is already given in the blurb that this story promises a lot. Its storyline is captivating but will it deliver? Does His Blazing Witch sustain its interesting plot until the end? Read this review and find out.

Now, the werewolves’ territory in Silver City is being disturbed by a witch, and so are the humans. It’s intriguing how these creatures will collide, and how our heroine will survive in it, as for her Silver City is an unfamiliar place, so is the body she was in, and with the powers she has. The author should be commended for her creative imagination, particularly with the colorful, wide, and nice world-building she made not just in His Blazing Witch but in the entire Silver City series.

There’s no doubt His Blazing Witch has an interesting plot. Werewolf stories have always been catchy and adding witches on it makes the plot more interesting.
