Part 1: The Main Story Of He’s My Alpha Novel
Jake and Clair befriended each other when Jake was still 14 years old and Clair was nine. That time, Jake becomes the Alpha of the Black Shadow pack because the current Alpha died. However, Jake has expressed his desire to not have any Lunas by his side.
Jake’s grandfather’s chosen mate passed away at a young age. Since then, his grandfather and father have led the pack well without Lunas. As an Alpha, Jake has cultivated a highly patriarchal perspective about Lunas. He thinks he doesn’t need any Lunas because Lunas are weak, and they can make their Alphas weaker.
Meanwhile, Clair has believed in the true love idea since she was a child. She also grows a romantic feeling toward Jake, mainly because she has spent most of her time with him since childhood. Even when her father sends her to live with humans a few years after she exchanges loving promises with Jake, she still holds dear to her beliefs that Jake would make her his Luna.
In He’s My Alpha, Clair’s backstories are no better than Jake’s. She loses her mother, which makes her fearful of losing the people she loves. Even so, Clair discovers Jake is her mate when she celebrates her 18th birthday and the first werewolf shift.
It’s not easy to sever the mating bonds, especially with the current power gaps between Clair and Jake. The Moon Goddess has set these MCs up in a mating relationship, and nobody can deny the Goddess’ power.
Still, the Beta and Gamma of the Black Shadow pack have reminded Clair about Jake’s meanness when he feels someone disrespects him. So, can Clair survive? Will she persist in her beliefs of one true love?
Part 2: The Sizzling Hot Chapters Of He’s My Alpha Novel
He’s My Alpha Chapter 1
The stories of He’s My Alpha Chapter 1 happen after two prologues of this novel that tell stories about Jake and Clair’s adolescence. More precisely, Clair is an 18-year-old she-wolf in Chapter 1, which makes Jake a mature and exceedingly powerful 23-year-old Alpha of the Black Shadow pack.
Clair drives back to the Black Shadow pack, which is the pack where her first encounters with Jake happen, as soon as she realizes he is her mate. Realizing the same thing while holding to a “no-need-of-Luna” belief makes Jake formulate several strategies to act violently toward Clair while preventing her from severing the mating bonds.
He’s My Alpha Chapter 9
Clair has been head over heels for Jake in He’s My Alpha Chapter 9. Here, she can’t rest because of the news Aaron breaks to her about Jake in the ball meeting. Also, in this chapter, I can sense Clair’s fear of losing her loved ones surpasses her fear of losing her family members when she was a teen.
Jake has consumed Clair’s mind since he exchanged hugs with her yesterday. The hugs are meaningful enough for Clair until she musters her courage to pack her things and toss them inside her duffel bag. She feels stressed because the hugs and the past interactions with Jake ruin her plans. I hope somebody else comes to Clair’s rescue!
He’s My Alpha Chapter 45
He’s My Alpha Chapter 45 is one of my favorite chapters in this novel because this chapter is where we finally see Jake’s budding feelings for Clair. He begins to get jealous of Aeon, another male werewolf character in this novel. When Jake considers Clair’s words in the past, he fears Clair would choose Aeon as her mate.
After all, Clair doesn’t usually attend party settings. When she does, she doesn’t wear clothes that reveal her physical appeal. So, when Clair dresses beautifully at Aeon’s party, Jake feels he has to watch her all night while dealing with his pack’s businesses in the same place.
Part 3: Some Analysis Of He’s My Alpha Novel
The MCs in He’s My Alpha might have passed their adolescent eras. Such things make most readers categorize this novel as a romance novel. However, I see classical teen themes when I read this novel. Childhood crush is one of the teen romance elements I find in this novel.
The prologues are the keys for readers to understand how Clair’s feelings for Jake begin to grow. Clair was only nine when she met Jake for the first time. A 9-year-old girl typically understands all about love subtly despite their playfulness. I see such characteristics in Clair’s 9-year-old self.
Despite not wanting a Luna before he meets his mate, I believe Jake also harbors the same feelings as Clair when he was a teen. Here, I see Jake as one of the most understanding and smart MCs despite his vicious nature. Talk about being vicious (feisty, physical, or anything negative that readers usually attribute to Alpha male characters), I believe these characteristics stem from Jake’s traumatic feelings about Luna.
When we read the first few prologues in He’s My Alpha novel, we’ll see Jake’s Black Shadow pack has done well without any Lunas. Hence, I assume Jake’s surroundings have implanted a false thought about Luna in his head. Such things lead him to believe all Lunas are weak and forget that Clair, his mate, is always a feisty and lovely girl.
All men are visual beings and the descriptions of Jake’s feelings and thoughts in some later chapters of He’s My Alpha novel describe the notions well. Jake starts to get jealous of other males who get close to Clair when he sees Clair become prettier.
Part 4: Similar Dreame Novel To He’s My Alpha
Jake might appear intense and intimidating in the first few chapters of He’s My Alpha. Yet, the romance dynamics between the two MCs in this novel have lighter and more playful vibes than intense ones. Such book vibes make He’s My Alpha one of the most unique books, especially when the male MC has been an Alpha werewolf of his pack since he was a teen.
Talk about a similar novel on Dreame, I think about The Luna’s Pretended Love Interest. This Dreame novel’s title suggests some degrees of playfulness and light-heart mating scenes when I read it. At the same time, this Dreame novel also pictures the complexity of a mating relationship in werewolf-verses.
Have you ever wondered, what if the Alpha is a she-wolf, and the male werewolf is the Beta? Can the Beta become the Alpha she-wolf’s love interest from being her boyfriend-for-rent? The Luna’s Pretended Love Interest is your answer!
Here’s where you follow stories about an Alpha she-wolf who is supposed to be a kind and loving leader of her pack. She becomes rude, bitter, skeptical, and heartless Alpha when her first mate betrays her. So, she forces her Beta to pretend to be her love interest to make fun of her ex-mate.
I’m sure you will love reading The Luna’s Pretended Love Interest on Dreame!
