Chapter 7’s highly sexual openings make this chapter one of the NSFW chapters in Her Forbidden Alpha novel. This chapter is not only full of sexual intercourse scenes. Instead, I can also sense the tension Scarlett feels when her stepbrother forcefully kisses her. After all, brothers don’t kiss sisters. Also, he is still Fiona’s mate!
Even so, nobody can deny Elijah’s charms. Many girls in the Blood Moon pack are head over heels for him. I see Elijah differently in Her Forbidden Alpha Chapter 41 than in the previous chapters. As expected from a playboy Alpha, gone has the lovey-dovey and protective Elijah. In Chapter 41, we witness Elijah breaks Scarlett’s heart by proving his remaining soft spot for Fiona, his former mate.
Rogue attacks are the triggers to Elijah’s budding feelings for his former mate. Still, Scarlett can’t accept this bitter reality. So, Scarlett returns to Amelia’s house to have some cups of milk tea to process her emotions. When she has finished processing her emotions, Scarlett concludes that she will bring a dagger with wolfsbane. This time, she targets not only Elijah but also his most powerful men, which angers Elijah.
Part 2: A Little Glimpse Of Her Forbidden Alpha Novel’s Storylines
Her Forbidden Alpha tells stories about two step-siblings in love: Scarlett Malone and Elijah Westwood. I haven’t read the backstories of Scarlett’s family that led her to live under the same roof as her stepfamily members.
Still, Scarlett is a self-confident and beloved young woman in her stepfamily. This thing in Her Forbidden Alpha novel makes her enjoy privileges that other she-wolves never dream of. Such things include a private car, a status as the only female Alpha of the Blood Moon pack, and a loving relationship with Elijah.
You read it correctly: Scarlett’s handsome-looking stepbrother, Elijah Westwood, is deeply in love with her. Elijah has been Scarlett’s stepbrother for at least eight years, and Elijah already has his mate: Fiona. Even so, Elijah can’t stop saying to his stepsister that the images of Scarlett’s face never stop haunting his mind.
These scenes lead Elijah to pursue Scarlett’s love even further. One of the most consistent things we see in Her Forbidden Alpha novel scenes is Elijah calling Scarlett by a pet name, “Red”. It refers to her attractive shoulder-length red hair and brave and kickass demeanor.
Readers would sometimes categorize a relationship between step-siblings as a forbidden romance. Yet, the apple tastes wonderful when Elijah becomes Scarlett’s apple bearer. He pleases Scarlett from her pretty-looking redhead to her sinful-looking heels.
So, you won’t be surprised in reading the intense and highly passionate physical contact scenarios in Her Forbidden Alpha novel. The two MCs’ emotions in dealing with each other’s relationship issues are also evident throughout the novel, which adds to the novel’s intensity levels.
Part 3: A Reflection Of Her Forbidden Alpha Novel
I was surprised when I read some readers categorize Her Forbidden Alpha under a forbidden romance category. While Elijah and Scarlett are brothers and sisters, it doesn’t mean they are blood-related. What’s more, Elijah has witnessed Scarlett’s character growth since the two MCs were still kids.
Nobody knows Scarlett’s biological family’s backstories, at least until the middle chapters of Her Forbidden Alpha novel. Yet, upon reading about the first Luna of the Blood Moon pack who got murdered, I speculate the same murder things happened to Scarlett’s biological family.
If what I speculate here is correct, Moonlight Muse might diffuse the biological family parts and skip to the romantic relationship dynamics. After all, Moonlight Muse might want to emphasize how much Elijah cares for Scarlett. His feelings for Scarlett (or “Red”) are not only as far as siblings. He cares for her as his mate, and the author wants the readers to acknowledge this part.
At the same time, I see Elijah Westwood, the male MC of Her Forbidden Alpha, as a person who hasn’t resolved his inner heart issue. Her Forbidden Alpha chapters consistently highlight his failure to control his desire. If he loved Scarlett that much, I guess he should reject Fiona more straightforwardly and not have anything more to do with her, even though she screams for his help.
Scarlett might have become the only female Alpha in her pack. However, being a female Alpha is rare and daunting, and this novel highlight both aspects of a female Alpha. She might be a brave and ferocious she-wolf, especially in the beginning chapters. Yet, she can’t resist Elijah’s temptation. She is also receptive to other people’s kindness.
