Eternal Emerald Dragon follows a story about a young man who died and was given a second chance to live in a non-Earthly realm because he’s different than the rest of human beings. Lind is his new name in the new realm that he resides in. At the same time, Lind still retains memories from his past when he was still on Earth while also serving the Frey Clan.
As I read through the chapters of Eternal Emerald Dragon, I find out that serving the Frey Clan means that Lind should learn at least some basic battle skills. Weapon practices are among the first things that Lind should master.
Meanwhile, the cultivation step in the Eternal Emerald Dragon novel is similar to the stage completion step, where the person has mastered the essential skill, including the elemental alchemy skills.

Part 1: The Author Of Eternal Emerald Dragon
Mythosarcana is the pen name of the author of Eternal Emerald Dragon. I see the relationship between the author’s pen name and the “dragon” part in the Eternal Emerald Dragon novel – all of which points to the fantasy settings in the novel that the author has decided to bring in.
When I read the chapters in Eternal Emerald Dragon, I guess the “Mythos” part in Mythosarcana points to the different realms that the author presents, particularly in the first few chapters of Eternal Emerald Dragon.
Productivity and focus-wise, I think Mythosarcana is one of the most keenly-focused and productive authors, even though the author’s social media presences are not that popular.
Eternal Emerald Dragon may be the only novel that Mythosarcana has written. However, the Eastern fantasy theme, the tournaments, the characters’ weaponry skills, and more, are so evident throughout the novel. It’s because Mythosarcana dedicates to updating the chapters accordingly until it comes to completion.
So far, Eternal Emerald Dragon has already got 300+ chapters. I’d like to see more updates from Mythosarcana because this novel is so interesting to read!!

Eternal Emerald Dragon Chapter 2
(P.S.: There may be discrepancies between the chapter’s counts according to the platform, where the Prologue is equal to Chapter 1, and so on. So, even though this chapter is listed under Chapter 3, I would like to refer to it the way Mythosarcana refers to it, which is Chapter 2.)
Chapter 2 of Eternal Emerald Dragon tells us all about the young man’s life in the second-chance world. Lind is his new name, and in this new realm, he was born again as a child. So, Lind is a child; however, he is a highly intelligent child because he understands language in adult-like capacities.
Here, he also gets new parents and learns more about the Frey Clan, one of the Lotus Empire clans that he will serve later on.
Eternal Emerald Dragon Chapter 9
Chapter 9 of Eternal Emerald Dragon takes a time setting five years after the previous chapter in this novel. So, here, in this chapter of Eternal Emerald Dragon, Lind is already 11 years old, and he already has a best friend named Kor.
Lind and Kor used to physically train together. However, Lind is such a near-genius child that he understands the mechanisms and systems around him so well.
As for the tournaments, this chapter delves deeper into the alchemy parts. Here, we learn the six elements that form Qi of a person’s body, and that a person can harmonize the elements in the alchemy parts to achieve cultivation. The final part of this chapter is all about the Old Man and Granny who are surprised that a small child like Lind can achieve the rare cultivation step.
Eternal Emerald Dragon Chapter 13
When I read the title of Chapter 13 of Eternal Emerald Dragon, which is “Tri-Clan Tournament”, I expect some scenes that involve punching and kicking. My expectation rises as I read through the stories in this chapter, that I learn each tournament candidate has Tiers from 1-9 and there are two different realms: World and Soul Realms.
However, the tournament in this chapter of the Eternal Emerald Dragon novel is different than in other writing pieces that I’ve read. It’s not only involving fist and weaponry fights; it’s also all about the ways each character focuses their inner powers through meditating and circulating the Qi around the character’s body.
Eternal Emerald Dragon Chapter 21
With the title of “Karmic Retribution”, Chapter 21 of Eternal Emerald Dragon is the author’s way to get back Lind’s position in the Tri-Clan Tournament, as he doesn’t become the winner in the previous chapters.
The author opens up the stories in this chapter by telling us that the drunken Hu, the man who wants to get even with Lind, is already imprisoned as an Imperial hostage.
Meanwhile, this chapter of Eternal Emerald Dragon also tells us about some new characters from the Imperial side. The first is Empress Jia Teng, who wishes to give Lind another chance for the tournament in a form of a medallion after knowing what her Imperial families are experiencing from Silvia, one of the Imperial staff members who imprison Hu.
Part 3: Alternative To Eternal Emerald Dragon
There are lots of ancient medicine terms in the Eternal Emerald Dragon book. Even though the chapters rarely talk about the actual dragon beings, the “dragon” term does exist in the novel’s title.
Speaking of medicine terms (being physicians, for example), and the “dragon” term, I think about a Dreame novel titled Physician To The Dragon Prince as the alternative to Eternal Emerald Dragon.
I would say that Physician To The Dragon Prince in Dreame platform is similar to the Eternal Emerald Dragon that I discuss in this article because both novels involve medical aspects. The differences are: 1) The physician in Physician To The Dragon Prince is female, and; 2) We read about the dragon beings in Physician To The Dragon Prince novel.
Summary of Physician To The Dragon Prince:
Physician To The Dragon Prince follows a story about a 22-year-old nurse named Emma Carrol Tinder. Emma is an ordinary human girl who loses her father due to a sudden attack by a Dragon Prince. The first time she discovers this part from her mother is also the time when she wishes revenge upon the dragon races.
As I read through the chapters’ paragraphs in the Physician To The Dragon Prince novel, I find out that it was finally time for Emma to confront the Dragon Prince, the murderer of her father.
However, the Dragon Prince and his dwarven staff force her to use her experience as a nurse. As the nurse of the Royal Medical Squad, Emma’s tasks include healing the wounded, helping mothers carry babies, and so on.
Later on, it turns out that Emma has carried out her tasks as the Royal Medical Squad’s nurse satisfactorily. Rader, the Dragon Prince, and his dragon, Zammorai, are so proud of her. Not only that Emma becomes Radur’s mate, but she also eventually becomes the Dragon Prince’s nurse.
