Lily
In First Love of the Alpha, Lily is a young she-wolf with a ton of drama on her plate. That is to be expected when you are turning nineteen soon, dealing with high school nonsense, and waiting for a lover that ghosted you.
She has her friends to provide support, however, Lily’s personality, though not introverted, gives off that vibe of isolation. She has a lot to think about and a lot to do, but all of this seems secondary when her awareness of her immediate surrounding is incredibly low.
Lily is shrouded in an air of mystery as regards to her wolf. Why is her fur white and what was it all supposed to mean?
The future holds all the answers that Lily is looking for, but can she express the right tenacity? Otherwise, maybe she needs a little push to get things done. Youth won’t wait and wasting time on something that ultimately won’t bear any fruits, is foolish. That sort of mindless devotion has got to stop.
Ben
He is the young alpha of the pack. Ben left the pack to complete his studies externally and he left behind someone he treasured. How will it all play out when he finally comes face to face with her. The love they shared, could it overcome the time they spent apart. What about the fact that he’d been far from her expectations way before he left?
Myles
He is the future gamma of Ben. He is friends with Ben, but there lies a sliver of guilt in his heart because of his feelings for Lily. That sliver of guilt was a lot bigger at first, but after finding out about his friend’s deeds, Ben thought Lily deserved better. His guilt about his feelings was pointless.
Amber
She is Myles’s sister and Lily’s friend. Together with Myles, Amber makes sure that Lily doesn’t experience a hard time at the hands of the jealous females in the pack.
Brooke
Just a spiteful wench, and she’s so young too. Brooke is an immature young girl with expectations of becoming the Luna, and the one person standing in her way is Lily.

First Love of the Alpha follows a young woman called Lily, who is surrounded by love and support but also hate and envy. Lily fell in love with her childhood friend, and he as well fell for her. However, because of his responsibilities, ben had to leave the pack for studies and so, they were separated.
Before they parted, Ben and Lily promised to wait for each other. However, it’s one thing to make such promises and another to keep them. Lily kept her promise though. But how long was she expected to wait for a man who left and refused to contact her for an extended period of time.
There’s a lot that Lily should know but no one will say anything because they can see how much the truth would wreck her. Lily carries on oblivious to everything. Especially the feelings of the young man that she considered a close friend. He didn’t hide the love in his heart; however, everyone could see it but her.
Lily may be oblivious to her present, but her future is anyone’s guess. With the return of Ben, her world will turn upside down. The love she has always had for him might just be pulled into question. After all this time, how can it be the same.
The author gives a wonderful spin to the uncertainty of teenage years, the fight of will over nature, character over culture and choices against expectations.
Truthfully, that First Love of the Alpha is this wrought with controversies is enough to keep anyone up for a day, just turning pages and wondering what the characters will do next.

Part 3: Some Controversial Opinions About First Love of the Alpha
The thematic structure of the book is simple and easy to digest. As for the plot, it could have done with a little more uniqueness. Not that it’s a bundle of cliches though, but rather, the element of love in the story could be more of a punch to the gut rather than a slap on the thigh.
There’s that peculiar factor in First Love of the Alpha that really makes it hard not to skip all the details and get to the part that feels like a roller-coaster ride. You can’t help but want to know what happens with the two main leads.
Why can’t things be easy and people uncomplicated? Well, truth is they can’t. The human species have got to be the most frustrating in the universe. We’re intelligent beings but we do the strangest crap that makes others question how good our brains work.
I’ll say this again; if you know you’re going to be a complete douchebag and cheat on her, then walk the hell out of her life before that happens. If you know she’s not the one you’re screwing on the daily, but you keep making crappy promises, walk the hell out of her life. Some males deserve the greatest curse the universe has to offer. I hope the bastards that fall in those two categories know that life is just a karmic loop. Stuff happens and your happiness that comes at the price of someone’s hurt will only garner retribution.

Here is our protagonist, played like a soccer ball by a man who isn’t worth the title. Don’t tell me anything, the dude didn’t give a crap about what she went through. However, she still held on for so long.

Chapter Seven – Night swims
Lily’s stomach sank when Conner mentioned the waterfall. Ben had taken her there as a surprise once. It wasn’t a place that many people knew.
She didn’t want to go back there. It was hard enough being there the previous time. Myles had made it easier back then, but tonight, after dancing with Myles, she was feeling a lot of raw emotions.
Lily was confused. She felt something for Myles and thought he felt something too. However, she wasn’t completely sure. The fact that she’d gotten aroused by him was the most shocking thing to her.
She began thinking about how gorgeous Myles was and just like that, she felt her arousal well up again. She couldn’t control the images of Myles that popped into her head. Se quickly shook her mind back to reality. Her gaze went towards Myles who was seated beside her in the car and thought maybe her heart was just picking up mixed signals.
Lily had been thinking a lot more about Ben lately and she just wished she could close that door and move on, but a first love is hard.
After getting lost in her memories, Lily told her friends she couldn’t go with them. She wanted rest. They didn’t mind, but when Lily came down from the jeep, Myles got out and followed her. He refused to leave, and Lily could only accept.
Myles was curious about why Lily was acting weird. He’d felt a change when the waterfall was mentioned. Also, he could have sworn he caught a whiff of her arousal. He’d seen Brody tense up in the car and that convinced him.
