If she does not get the help she needs, then her life would be spent in fear and hiding from evil spirits. Hua Qian Gu is helpless in the face of this truth. She had grown up in such a poor condition where people of her village had to keep away from her home, just so they could avoid calamity.
There are a lot of ways that such isolation could harm a child. However, Hua Qian Gu was raised well by her father. The thought of being set apart from civilization at that age is harrowing. The protagonist is such a persevering character.
If you look at the way she was able to quietly accept that this was her reality, you will find that it was a remarkable feat for someone of her age. Then again, if she could handle seeing dead people everywhere, what can such a minor thing as her living situation do?

Part 1: Story of The Journey of Flower
The story follows Hua Qian Gu. She is born with mysterious spiritual energy that attracts evil spirits to her. She is the epitome of misfortune to her village; she brought calamity with her presence, and for this reason, her home was separated from the others.
Hua Qian Gu lived with her father, but he fell sick. Hua Qian Gu, who was told to never leave the house after dark, braved the night and headed for the physician’s house.
She encountered shocking evil on her way, barely making it past. She even wore clothes made from the skin of four black dogs to hide her scent, but this only helped a little, the same for the monk beads. Hua Qian Gu got past and called on the physician. He came out not long after and they hurried to her father.
The physician knew that it was the last night of the man’s life. Hua Qian Gu was without family the next day. Her father passed and left her instructions to go to Mount Mao and find the Taoist priest there. The person would teach her mystic arts that would teach her how to use her spiritual energy. Hua Qian Gu departed for the Mount, as her father had directed.
The one she met was someone spectacular and amazing. He proved difficult to understand, however. But with the bell he put on her, she had made up her mind and given him something as well, except he had no knowledge of what it was. Only time will tell.

Hua Qian Gu
She is an unfortunate young woman born with a lot of responsibility that someone her age was not meant to carry. Hua Qian Gu lived a life of solitude with her father by her side. She had only one family left.
Her mother had died during childbirth, and it was because of the type of spiritual energy Hua Qian Gu entered the world with, or so they said. She was said to bring misfortune and calamity to people who were close to her.
After an unforeseen engagement with the harsh forces of nature, the village decided, and her home was moved to the edge of the bridge. Hua Qian Gu never complained, however. She is a girl who understood the sacrifices that were made to put her on earth. Eventually, even her father succumbed to illness.
His body had been traumatized by all the evil spirits that were attracted to her. Before his death, he had even looked older than he really was. Nevertheless, the man never resented his daughter. He never ran away.
Hua Qian Gu, still handling the loss of her father, entered the cold and unfamiliar world. Her encounters were either terrifying or downright silly. But in everything, she never stopped. She is a character that moves the heart so much. Not just because of all the challenges she had to go through, but also that unwavering stubbornness.

Chapter Three
Hua Qian Gu saw a vast number of human tongues that hung by thread from the ceiling. She screamed and made to run out. But she bumped into a person. She tried to discourage the person from eating her and tried to sneak away. However, she was blocked. The person demanded a drop of blood to ensure that she kept the secret of what she saw.
Relieved, Hua Qian Gu gave the drop willingly, then made to leave. However, the person reminded her of why she had come; she needed answers. She confirmed that the person was indeed Yi Xiu Jun. She asked for a way up Mount Mao, and the payment he required was the place and time she was born. She thought letting him know this information was alright, then she told him.
The person gave her a necklace with a pendant that was translucent like dew. It was called Tian Shui Di, made from phoenix tears. If she wore it, she could go up Mount Mao. She thanked him; however, he refused her thanks. He explained that everything came at a price.
The person explained about the tongues that were hanging from the ceiling; they gave him the information. He even offered to make them sing for her. At the sight of the tongue beginning to move, she immediately refused. He wanted her to sign her pretty tongue away, but she refused again. He said she was welcome to return, but the girl did not look back until she needed directions.
Hua Qian Gu left the place, speechless at the calculative person.
