And I know that there are some readers who have given up on Elliot a long time ago, yet his character does go through a great deal of changes and some of his actions were justified due to some terrible misunderstandings, but I know he had his share of punishment. Well deserved, of course.
So, in the end, for me at least, I guess he atoned for his mistakes. And Avery did deserve to be happy.
