It is probably the rainiest day of the year and Blake needs to make a quick, important delivery to none other than the rich George Weston. As soon as he enters the Weston villa, our handsome boy is mesmerized by a beautiful young girl, wearing a red gown and walking towards him. Unfortunately, she can’t hide her arrogance and disdain toward the delivery boy, and scold him for dripping water onto the mansion’s clean floor.
Blake is escorted to the dining room area, where George Weston is enjoying his meal with his family. Apparently, they quarrel because the beautiful conceited girl from earlier, Claire, asks her grandfather to grant her hand in marriage to Steve Anderson, who plans on coming the next day to make the official announcement.
Grandfather George doesn’t truly approve of her marriage and proposes a deal in exchange. He wants Claire to marry the delivery boy. Julie tries to scold Blake for raising his voice at her daughter but the man dismisses her and heads for the bathroom. Claire is not bothered though, she considers her husband trash and has no expectations from him.
After finishing his shower, Blake heads for the nuptial bedroom. He sleeps on the floor while his wife sleeps on the bed, with a knife under her pillow. Every night, before she goes to sleep, she checks to see if the weapon is still there. Once she feels safe, she falls asleep.
In the morning, Blake cooks breakfast for his mother-in-law and wife and Julie asks him to pick up her younger daughter, Tabitha, from the train station as she is visiting for the week, before her finals.
Having no choice, the man has to take his afternoon off from work to go and pick up his sister-in-law. Before heading for the train station, he enjoys a nice meal in a restaurant.
Meanwhile, Henry is sitting in his office chair as his father walks him, curious to know whether the boy managed to convince Claire to join their campaign or not. Henry admits she isn’t fully on board yet but he is working on it.
