It had to have been that Curtis Faymon would do anything to have Rayna around him, so he blackmailed her sister, Roxanne into signing a deal that would have Rayna around as a translator in a renowned entertainment company that he ran alongside others.
In this chapter of Dear Sweetheart, Curtis hurried to rescue Rayna from a bully. No one knew why Kristen thought she had the audacity to lash Rayna on set. Kristen was also a beneficiary of Curtis Faymon, and was very likely jealous of the fact that the most admired Curtis Faymon had brought in yet another lady to work.
Curtis was quick enough to have spotted Kristen when she was flogging Rayna and hurried towards her to stop her. Of course, as soon as Kristen saw Curtis approaching her, she stopped flogging Rayna and pretended to be a gentle bird, asking Curtis why he was on set. Curtis Faymon never visited the set according to Dear Sweetheart Novel, so his presence there attracted everyone to flock around him, but he could not keep his eyes away from Rayna.
A lot was revealed in this chapter of Dear Sweetheart Novel, including how Rayna ended up with Julian Faymon. She was supposed to get married to another young man who lived abroad, but Rayna suddenly changed her mind for reasons nobody knew about. Rayna asked that her sister never mentioned the name of her ex-lover again or else she would cut ties with her.

Rayna
Rayna is the female lead of Dear Sweetheart Novel. She had issues, a lot of them that bothered her, including the fact that she was from a humble background but married into a high-end family that did not respect her and insisted that she was not worthy to be married to their son. The Faymon family. She was married to Julian Faymon but according to the novel, she had never gone passed hugging him. Yes, as husband and wife, Rayna had only been able to hug her husband and had not been sexually intimate with him because of a past experience she had that left her disgusted and afraid anytime a man came too close to her.
Witnessing her husband, Julian Faymon cheat on her on the day of her wedding anniversary left Rayna with a scar that could not heal. She sought revenge and ended up with the male lead of the novel, Curtis Faymon, Julian’s uncle. Rayne, according to Dear Sweetheart Novel, was seen as a baby making toy for the Faymon family. She was not loved while she was married to Julian, and the fact that she had not given birth to a baby after one year, upset Julian’s mother greatly, and the woman asked Rayna to divorce her son.
Curtis Faymon
Curtis Faymon is the uncle of Julian Faymon and heir to Faymon group whom everyone in the Faymon family sought to be in good terms with, inclusing Julian’s mother. According to Dear Sweetheart Novel, he was an adopted son of the Faymon family, but he was taken abroad and trained with season so that he could become heir to the Faymon Group. This position left him untouchable and made every member pf the Faymon family rally around him to be in his good books.
Curtis Faymon first came in contact with the female lead after she caught his nephew, her husband, Julian Faymon cheating on her. In a bid to clear her head, she hurried to a night club where she thought to sleep with just any man in the club as far as he was worth it, unknown to her that she fell into the arms of her husband’s uncle, Curtis Faymon. Curtis Faymon, according to Dear Sweetheart, later grew fond of Rayna, and went as far as hiring his assistant to find out everything about her especially after their first encounter where she tipped him with soke money after he slept with her.

Part 3: Main Plot Of Dear Sweetheart
Rayna was of course, excited about her first wedding anniversary with her husband, Julian Faymon, and as a result, sought to surprise him. She was initially slated to go on vacation to another country, but she stayed back, unknown to Julian who brought in another woman to the house and was sleeping with her according to Dear Sweetheart Novel. It came as a shocker to Rayna when she caught her husband with another woman.
Rayna bought flowers and chocolate and other accessories all for her husband for their anniversary, but when she got home, she heard a strange woman’s voice asking him when he would get a divorce as she had already gotten hers. Rayna could not believe her ears. She later got to find out that the woman that was with her husband was none other than his superior at work whom he had even complained about before, stating that he had to do very lowly acts all because he wanted favours from her. Rayna just got to find out that part of the lowly acts was to sleep with his superior at work. Disgusting.
For the sake of evidence, Rayna had everything that happened between Julian and his mistress recorded, right before she stomped away and headed to a place called Heavenly Palace. There, she started to drink away her sorrows until an idea crept into her mind to revenge for what Julian did to her. Right in front of Rayna, she thought she had seen the perfect man to take revenge on Julian with. A tall and handsome man with an imposing aura and nobody but the creame de la creame of the society flocking around him was the right man for the job.
Rayna, according to Dear Sweetheart Novel, swayed and staggered towards the man and pretended to have mistakenly fallen into his arms. Little did she know that the man was none other than Curtis Faymon, her husband’s uncle. Curtis, a no-nonsense man was taken aback by the woman who fell into his arms. He was used to women throwing themselves at him, and he naturally thought this woman was one of them until he saw the way she responded when she realised whose arms she had fallen into.
Rayna heard Curtis Faymon’s voice and immediately came back to her senses, apologising for her mischief. But Curtis knew what she wanted, and he was ready to give it to her, so, according to Dear Sweetheart, and to Rayna’s surprise, Curtis Faymon whisked her off from the ground bridal style, and took her to his hotel room. At that point, Rayna was confused. She had issues with giving herself to men, as she had not even given herself to her own husband because of a bad experience she had but, on this occasion, she was more than willing to give herself to Curtis Faymon, which she did.
Rayna woke up in the morning and tip toed out of Curtis’ hotel room, not forgetting to drop a tip for him which upset Curtis a great deal. Curtis asked that his assistant tracked Rayna down and found out everything possible about her. Rayna later got back home to Julian’s residence, only to find his mother in the living room. The woman who despised Rayna a great deal because she had not given birth to a grandchild for her, asked Rayna to divorce her son, Julian so that there would be chance for other women who could give her a grandchild to enter his life.
Part 4: Conclusion Of Dear Sweetheart
A mundane genre written in a not so mundane style, Dear Sweetheart is a beautiful piece of literary art just as the name implies. I love the fact that the female lead was not going to accept the nonsense that Julian’s mother was ready to give to her anytime she came across her. I love the fact that revenge was the first thing on the mind of the female lead as soon as she found out that her husband was cheating on her. Kudos to the author on a unique plot and decent write up.
