But soon, these thoughts went to the back of her mind as she started to meet new friends at her new high school. Her circle also included Xavier to which Addison is oblivious about the fact that she is the guy’s mate. She always thought that Alpha Xavier is just her usual easy-going classmate of hers.

Addison might not be as unique as other female protagonists of a werewolf novel. But she was crafted beautifully, anyone who would read her point of view will easily connect with her. That is the charm of Addison Avery from The Alphas Human Mate.

Alpha Xavier acted all whipped and a gentleman which moved Addison eventually. But, Addison was still clueless as to what her friends were until she visited Alpha Xavier’s house where she witnessed a fight between werewolves.

The story wouldn’t be exciting without the antagonist! After 19 chapters, The Alphas Human Matt finally gave a hint about its antagonist, and its no other than Andrew!

Andrew is their classmate who plays the role of Romeo in their Romeo and Juliet class play. He dragged Addison into an empty classroom and warned her about Alpha Xavier which the latter found weird. Plus Addison knows that Alpha Xavier wouldn’t hurt her, shes his mate after all.

Addison defended Alpha Xavier. Andrews’s remark about how Addison exactly looks like her mother as if he had known her for so long made her shiver and suspect something. And he seems to be stalking her as he also pointed out how Addison always opens the window of her room at night.
