Part 1: Main Storyline of Shattering the Alpha
Shattering the Alpha follows the story of Calista, an Alpha Knight’s daughter. Worried about Jamie, Calista, the directionally-challenged protagonist of Shattering the Alpha, followed him into the woods.
She lost and was almost killed by a rogue but was saved on time by a mysterious man. Being the directionally challenged as she is, Calista was not able to resist when the stranger said that she needed to meet his Alpha first.
Calista regretted her decision. The man brought her to the Blood Venom Pack, the most elusive and dangerous pack among the wolves. That was not the only problem.
As soon as she met their Alpha, Calista immediately realized that Alpha Axel was her mate. However, the man wasn’t even a bit glad about the reunion, instead, he ordered Calista to be locked.
Alpha Axel was forcing her to take the Lunar Trial because he believes that only if Calista passes the trial can she be worthy of her. But Calista had enough, she refused to take the trial and would rather be rejected.
Calista only opened up with Alpha Axel’s Beta, Mason. He was the guy who saved her at least. The two became friends quickly to the point that Calista used her participation in the trial as a bet for Mason to find her mate.
Days quickly passed and the trial was held. Everything went smoothly until the council of elders altered the trial’s content causing for the waves of harm that hunted the Alpha Axel and Calista.

Calista can really be stubborn and timid at the same time but when pushed on edge, she also has a temper and claws ready to lunge at anyone, anytime. She also values the people around, especially those she treats as family and friends. What could it be if it is a lover? Alpha Axel just really dug a treasure!

Alpha Axel of Shattering the Alpha is the ruler of the Blood Venom Pack, the most secretive and unsociable pack. He prioritizes his pack more than anything else until he had his life turned upside down by his mate, Calista.
His rigid and decisive self goes out of control every time his mate involves herself. He wanted Calista to take the trial as he subconsciously wanted to keep her by his side but he cannot express his real feelings as he believes that emotions can only hinder his leadership ability.
In the end, he hurt his mate in the process but what Calista did shatters him into irreparable pieces.
