Becoming The Perfect Luna may seem like a dream comes true for many she-wolves. After all, The Perfect Luna should get a perfect mate who invests his time in understanding and accepting her, right?
Not so right for Riannon, the Luna to be Alpha Brayden, though. Riannon (a.k.a. “Ria”) has a powerful and kind-hearted Alpha father, not to forget that she marries a man whose father is her father’s best friend. She is also a responsible and diligent she-wolf, and of course, she is a stunning beauty.
However, the Alpha whom Ria has married for six years suddenly confessed to The Perfect Luna that he is mated to an Omega named Roxanne a.k.a. Roxy. Furthermore, in her Luna crowning ceremony, Roxy orders other werewolves to kill Ria and all of her loyal followers.
Fortunately, the Moon Goddess still has a backup plan for Ria, which involves a Lycan King as her second-chance mate. So, will the Lycan King learn to appreciate beautiful moments with The Perfect Luna and be loyal to her forever?

Part 1: Meet The Characters Of The Perfect Luna Novel On Dreame
Riannon (a.k.a. “Ria”)
Like any other Alpha daughter, Riannon a.k.a. Ria is supposed to be The Perfect Luna of her pack. Above all, her parents are kind-hearted, protective, and supportive. Ria also doesn’t only possess unrivaled beauty, but she’s also a responsible, diligent, and trustworthy woman in everything that she does.
She is married to Alpha Brayden for six years, whom she refers to as “Bray”. Too bad, Brayden is too fearful of rejecting the evil Omega and choosing her over the Omega.
Brayden
Alpha Brayden of the Silver River pack has been married to The Perfect Luna Riannon for six years. He was Ria’s best friend and childhood crush, and his father befriends Ria’s father, which makes both of them easy to establish romantic chemistries from their early years.
However, I would say that Brayden is a little bit too immature in The Perfect Luna novel. After all, he can’t control his wolf when he sees Omega Roxanne and, at that moment, he insists on bringing Roxanne to the pack’s house despite his mate’s disapproval.
Roxanne
Roxanne a.k.a. Roxy in The Perfect Luna novel on Dreame may only be an Omega-ranked she-wolf. However, she is a mean-spirited and power-hungry lady, and she is nervy enough to seduce Alpha Brayden, who is already mated to Ria and doesn’t want to reject Ria, yet.
I would say that Omega Roxanne in The Perfect Luna is not a typical nice-girl Omega. After all, she’s both opportunistic and sadistic, and won’t hesitate to gather masses to kill Riannon so she would marry Brayden.
Part 2: Story Of The Perfect Luna Novel That You Should Know About
When we talk about an Alpha male werewolf and an Omega orphaned, she-wolf relationship, we would usually think about the Alpha suppressing or rejecting the Omega. We can find the identical dynamics in one of The Perfect Luna’s novel’s chapters; the difference is that now, the Omega is the villain to the current (then-ex-) Luna.
Here, The Perfect Luna is Riannon a.k.a. Ria. Ria has been the Luna to Alpha Brayden of the Silver River pack for six years; their relationships have been so stable, until Roxanne, the Omega orphan, comes to Ria’s mate’s sight.
That time is when Bray’s wolf can’t resist Roxanne’s (a.k.a. Roxy’s) temptation, and like any other man, Bray isn’t aware that Roxanne is only playing victim to make herself stay at the pack house for free.
Despite Brayden’s pitiful feelings towards Roxanne, he still loves Ria and he doesn’t want to reject any of his so-called mates yet. Meanwhile, Roxanne’s meanness towards Ria has started since the first chapter of The Perfect Luna’s novel. Not only that she name-call Ria, but she also orders other werewolves to kill Ria and her loyal followers, including her female best friend.
Roxanne’s proficiency in playing victim has made Brayden fail to reject her every time he wants to. In the end, Ria, The Perfect Luna, has to run away to a safe place without rogues and the interference of other pack members. There, she knows that a Lycan King lives near the safe place.
Who knows, though, that the Moon Goddess has a beautiful plan for The Perfect Luna? The Goddess may appear to have some sick sense of humor, yet, she has set up a second-chance mate for the weeping Ria…
Part 3: Marissa Gilbert, The Author Of The Perfect Luna
Writing a compelling werewolf romance book requires great intuition and imagination skills; after all, werewolves are different beings than humans, with their mating ceremony, full moon rituals, healing factor abilities, rank-based treatments, and so on. Marissa Gilbert, the author of The Perfect Luna, seems to possess these required skills.

The Perfect Luna book itself is a part of Marissa Gilbert’s trilogy. Other books in this trilogy include The Luna Trials and The Alpha God’s Luna. Just look at the cover’s designs and you’ll see what I meant by dreamy color combinations. In addition, the three books also happen to be the only books from Marissa Gilbert.
