My mate has two wolves is the third book in Marcus Abston’s Dying Truth Exposed series, The Two Wolves, which continues Annabelle’s journey as she advances in her life with her Cherokee family. Her life’s finest choice was to be married to John.

Despite being the Alpha’s daughter, she has always lived the life of a servant. Because she was wolfless, her father and stepmother detested her.

She met a mystery man before the mating gathering night. He ruined her life by stealing her virginity. She was exiled as a result and went wild, but then she unexpectedly came upon her wolf.

The couple was content with their blessings after having Joseph, David, Rain, Jannie, and Jonathan as children. However, my mate’s two wolves’ happy moments were short-lived. Everyone was surprised by an event involving Lisa, but what stunned everyone was the kidnapping of children in their little town of Tahlequah.

The Indian Agents were after them and intended to create havoc, which only served to worsen the situation.

The Wolf slaughtered the entire flock at his leisure because he did not need to be afraid. The lesson of the story is that a liar should never be believed, even when they are speaking the truth. One of the well-known Aesop’s Fables is The Shepherd’s Boy and the Wolf.

Part 3: Author and My Mate Has Two Wolves

Author and My Mate Has Two Wolves

In this novel, there are some other characters my mate has two wolves, John and Annabelle in front of it all. In the face of difficulty, would they be able to protect their family and deal with problems head-on? The story’s author, Marcus Abston, did an outstanding job of crafting a plausible yet very engaging tale. I admired Annabelle’s development.

This time, we met a young woman who was a mother to four children and passionately guarded them like a lioness. Although my mate has two wolves Lisa’s situation broke my heart, but she ended up being a trooper. The descriptions were just wonderful, as expected! The structure in the backdrop was nearly alive.

As Annabelle overcame each difficulty in search of a place of tranquility for herself and her family, I had the impression that I was standing right there with her. The conversation seemed sharp and a lot more revealing.

The Two Wolves showed how far Abston’s characters had progressed in their search for fulfillment and acceptance. Family and safety were recurring themes, but so was introspection. Anyone who appreciates historical fiction should check out this series.

Part 4: Final Words

Reading My mate has two wolves was quite fulfilling. Author Marcus Abston vividly depicts this family for readers through excellent writing, fantastic characterizations, a sense of the old west, as well as the futility and despair experienced by Native Americans after the horrific Trail of Tears.

The degree of bigotry present at the time among Native Americans shocked me the most, though I may have been naive in thinking this. I found it fascinating to read about how many Cherokee believed they were vastly higher than black people on the spectrum of civilization, even though they were regularly informed of this fact.

I like how the author exposed the blatant dishonesty of both white males and many Native Americans by using the primary topic of Christianity. My mate has two wolves, in my opinion, was the story’s main theme and it permeated every page.

I particularly appreciated the chit-chat and banter amongst the several female characters in the Lightning-Strongman family, who were all the real family leaders and all exhibited certain dominant tendencies.

Although I will be keeping an eye out for book four when it releases so I can continue the story, it is not required to have read the first two novels to appreciate this my mate has two wolves because it stands alone beautifully. I can heartily suggest this book as a great read.
