Part 1: Plot Summary of Heated Rivalry
Our story follows two perfectly successful hockey players: Shane, who is captain of the Montreal Voyageurs, and Ilya who is captain of the Boston Bears. These two are locked in an intense rivalry that spans years, but something even more is happening. What is this undercurrent, you ask? Well, they bang each other on occasion.
It’s fun, it’s casual, and no one needs to get too involved. It is just sex and nothing more. So simple, but how do you fuck a person for years and not develop something for them? How do you not catch feelings? Shane and Ilya have to answer this but they’re probably looking for answers, too.

Not unlike Ilya, he’s a pro hockey player with an abundance of talent. Shane’s life is centered around hockey, his career. He is biracial and has a good family. Basically, his life is sort of perfect. However, one person comes into his life with a smirk and a very masculine disposition. This person just happens to be his rival on the ice.
Shane begins to navigate new experiences, and deal with unexpected emotions as his world is set alight. How far will it get? Should I or should I not? The internal struggle hits him every time. All because of one man.

Part 3: Hot Chapters of Heated Rivalry
Chapter Two
Shane’s team loses the game Ilya, and Shane couldn’t be more disturbed by this fact. It must be that annoyingly smug smirk on his face. Either way, Shane is bothered. And when he can’t get his mind to relax, he goes to the hotel’s gym. Guess who joins him. Yes, none other than Ilya Rozanov.
They seem to compete on the treadmill, but Shane gets exhausted first. He watches Ilya with his triumphant smirk, and when he takes a drink of water from the water bottle, Shane is suddenly thirsty. It seems Ilya notices the strange atmosphere, too. When he offers Shane the water bottle, their hand’s brush, and the calm is pierced ever so slightly.
Shane realizes the weird desire he suddenly feels, and quickly leaves. When he returns to his room, he can’t help but admit Ilya affects him in unexpected ways.
Chapter Four
Shane meets Ilya once again. This time they both share an endorsement deal and have to shoot together. Done with filming and away from the camera, they encounter each other in the locker room showers, and Shane cannot resist looking at Ilya.
Ilya notices the eyes on him, and his response is verbal as well as biological. When he proposes to meet Shane in his room, Shane neither agrees nor disagrees.
By the time it is 9 pm, Shane is already incredibly anxious. He hears the knock on his door and lets Ilya into his room. The doubt he feels can’t get any bigger, but when he’s kissed by the other male, Shane forgets everything.
The two males indulge in one another. The unexpectedness of the situation builds up the sexual tension to a max. And, when they are both spent, Ilya has to leave. Shane can’t help wanting the other man to stay a little longer. Could it be that he was unsatisfied with the casual experience?
Heated Rivalry is amazing in its beautiful vividness. The characters couldn’t any more awesome, and the steamy romance has got to be one of the best. Grab that popcorn and get enjoy this spectacular read.
