Part 1: Main Story of The Novel Bossman

Bossman Novel

The story revolves around the relationship between Reese and Chase, two strangers who meet in a restaurant and pretend to know each other. Their pretense carries on throughout the story, the main protagonists creating a common background, a lie no doubt, that will put them in tough spots.

The novel begins with Reese in the hallway of the lady’s room in a restaurant, trying to call her friend, Jules, to save her from an awful date she had with Martin. Chase overhears her talking to her friend and intervenes, trying to give her some pieces of advice on how to handle the date.

Chase mocks her by trying to remind her how long the is waiting list for the restaurant and how much the boy must have worked to get a table there, so it should be her fault that her date night isn’t what she hoped for.

Soon after Reese goes back to Martin, Chase takes his date, Bridget and go to their table, pretending to be an old acquaintance of Resse’s. The girl plays along, and the two of them make up funny stories about their past together.

Soon after her date night, Reese is on the hunt for a job and goes for an interview, only to find out that her boss would be none other than Chase Parker. She needs to pretend he is her cousin in front of her friends and not show any attraction towards him. Will she succeed? You can only find out by reading the amazing story Bossman.

Part 2: Hot Chapters from Bossman

If I were to choose only a couple of chapters that I like from Bossman, I should probably tell you that it’s impossible to choose. All of them have their own magic and entertaining bits, they are very well constructed and the narrative flow is definitely flawless.

Here is a glimpse of the story.

Bossman Chase Parker

Bossman Chapter 4

When Reese’s cell phone rang in the morning, she remembered that Chase mentioned he had a friend who was also a recruiter, but he failed to mention that Samantha recruited for Parker Industries, his own company.

After a nice lunch with the recruiter, followed by a long walk in the park, the girls move the meeting to Parker Industries, to discuss Reese’s background. The girl has her own curiosity about Chase and asks Samantha what was the man’s first invented product. She learns that he came up with The Pampered Pussy, known today as Divine Wax.

Reese couldn’t hold back her laughter. The man was really something! She told Samantha how she met Chase and how saved her from a bad date by pretending he was an old acquaintance.

Samantha is amazed by the fact that Chase sought her out to recruit Reese, as she only makes recruitments for Parker Industries now, but she likes the girl and is willing to help her.

While in the shower, Reese contemplates the idea of having sex with her boyfriend, Bryant. They had been on several dates, so it was only natural for intimacy to happen. While washing her intimate parts, the girl’s thoughts wandered to Chase and his gorgeous body.

During her date with Bryant, the man confesses he has strong feelings for her and he wants her, but the girl isn’t ready yet. She doesn’t know if she’ll ever be ready to be his entirely.

Bossman Chapter 5

Reese is late for a job interview at the Maxim building. She reached floor thirty-three at Parker Industries and manages to jam her shoe in the elevator track. Again, Chase saves her by untangling her foot and putting her shoe back on.

Learning that Reese is meeting Josh, the vice president of marketing, for an interview, stuns Chase, but pretends he was aware of the meeting.

Outside of Samantha’s office, the girl overhears Chase ordering her to not hire Reese. The woman insists that the girl is right for the job and Chase backs down, telling her to do whatever she wanted.

Reese decides to leave and not go through the interview, after all. If the boss doesn’t want her there, what’s the point of staying? Seeing the girl leave, Chase catches up to her and demands to know why she is running away.

The woman tells him upfront about overhearing his discussion and Chase admits that he feels attracted to her and, if she were to work at Parker Industries, he will try to bed her. Reese tells him that, if he were her boss, she would definitely turn him down. They make a pact that she gets the job, he hits on her and she will not give in to his charms.

Part 3: Romance Novel Review: Bossman

Bossman Romance

Bossman is a romance narrative with a set of leading characters that are well-rounded and interesting. Their romance is sexy and funny and overall unbelievable. I really like how their relationship develops throughout the story since they begin as complete strangers and accomplices and turn into seductive game players later on.

One of the main reasons why I recommend this novel is Chase Parker. He is the highlight of the story, for sure. Vi Keeland constructed a male lead character that will make you fall for him. He is witty, funny, romantic, not to mention handsome.

All in all, if I were to rate this book, I would give it five out of five stars. It has a well-deserved popularity among readers and it’s a completed novel, so you don’t have to keep waiting for the outcome as it’s already been written.
