Looking for a romance book well written? This is it! The storyline, the chemistry between Nova and Ronan, their sweet interactions, everything about this book screams romance. Once more Ilsa Madden-Mills created a true showpiece! It’s fun, entertaining, and an enjoyable read for all romance fans.
One of the things I liked most about this book is the fact that, even though Ronan is a jock, admired and coveted by many women, he is not a womanizer. He is handsome, nice, dedicated to his work, and fully committed to Nova.
Ronan is still on the rebound, after losing his girlfriend in a car accident, so he only fake dates Nova at first. Their encounters are simply delicious and you’ll find yourself wondering when will the man finally realize that his pretense girlfriend is the one he had a one-night stand with two years ago. The answer is right there, in the book. You’ll just have to be patient and read.
If you’re into sports romance, you should definitely check out. It’s fun, it’s intriguing, and, most of all, it’s filled with romance.

The romance between a handsome quarterback and a beautiful young lady, his fan no less, is bound to be delicious. They have a rocky start with a comic and horrendous one-night stand but their relationship turns into something sweet, but just as hilarious when they start fake dating.
This sexy, adult romance is revolved around an explosive mock couple who take their play date to a whole new level. They say they only pretend to be a couple in front of their town, but they actually enjoyed kissing and touching, they just didn’t admit their feelings for each other.
I liked the fact that the author explored the grieving side of Ronan. He actually feels terrified by the idea of loving again, especially since he still feels very guilty about what happened to his fiance.
He started off as the perfect jock, loved by all NFL fans, with a bright sports career ahead and a wonderful future wife that loved him unconditionally. Despite his unfortunate accident and losing the love of his life, Ronan is still a sweet guy, still devoted to the game and his fans. The only part that he neglects now is his love life.
As a man who went through such tragedy, one would expect him to find solace in alcohol and mess up his life completely, but it doesn’t happen this way. He can’t play anymore, but he coaches. He can’t love anymore, but he enjoys a one-night stand with a stranger and totally forgets about her.
Nova, on the other hand, doesn’t forget him. She willingly gives herself to the NFL player as he is the man of her dreams, her idol. When coming back into town and reconnecting with Ronan, she knows exactly what happened between them, but she doesn’t confess that she is the girl he had a one-night stand with all those years prior.
She starts as a groupie, a girl who is in love with the most famous NFL player. She is disappointed though with how things turn out and leaves town without thinking about Ronan again until she has to come back and take care of her sister.
I really love Ronan and Nova’s banter and snarky comments and I like that, even though they only pretend to be in love, everyone around can sense their heat. Their chemistry is undeniable.

Romance Novels are truly delicious. The flirting, the banter, the sexual tension, and the chemistry between the characters simply create a wonderful story.
