A book about love, attraction, temptation, denial, and passion, Carnal urges broke the limits of what we would regard as normal. I’ll admit, Before reading this book, I was not a fan of mafia romance.
However, after getting my hands on it and reading the first two chapters, I got so hooked I spent the rest of the day reading. The narration was so good that at some point, I was engrossed in the book.
If you have been looking for a mafia romance book to give you the same drive, then you should pick up carnal urges by jt Geisinger as well. But hey, turn on the AC because things will get steamy along the way.

Part 1: Storyline of Carnal Urges by Jt Geissinger
The story began with an unfolding of a post-kidnapping scene of Sloane, the female lead, by Declan, her ‘beautiful blue-eyed devil’. Sloane had been kidnapped by Declan and his gang on her way to New York City to visit her friend, Natalie.
Apparently, it had been stated that Sloane was responsible for inciting a war between Declan’s gang and the Russians. She was being transported via plane to Boston to meet the head of Declan’s gang.
Things take a different turn when Declan, who did not like her at first, suddenly became the head of his mafia gang after his predecessor died mysteriously. When this happened, he is forced to protect her from fierce enemies that await them as soon as they land.
In the fierce battle that ensues at the very beginning of the book, one thing they could not deny is their intense attraction for each other. Both felt it, and both were interested, but Declan did not like the way she made him feel. She was fierce, she was knowledgeable, and she was strong. And he was determined to tame her.
Does he succeed in doing this and getting the domination he has always craved, or does the irresistible Sloane spin his world around and make him see several colors at the same time?

We all want to know who we will be reading about, right? And for a book as steamy as this one, we just can’t get enough patience to figure it out in the long run. So, have fun navigating through the world of the main characters of Carnal Urges’ book.
1. Sloane
She is beautiful, fierce, sexy, and irresistible. And guess what? She knows!
Sloane is a typical example of a woman who knows exactly what she wants and how to get it. Barely a few hours into Declan’s life, she turned his life into a tornado of emotions. She awoke desires and feelings he did not know were there and she did all these while wielding a gun.
Did I forget to mention that she is a really good fighter as well?
She showed off her fighting skills and easily took down one of Declan’s men while they wanted to kidnap her (she broke his nose), and even while under the effect of a drug Declan had used to sedate her, she jumped out of a moving car to escape from them.
Seriously, is she a black widow? Because only the famous mistress of espionage could do something like that.
But, even a strong woman like her has her limits, and her’s was the irresistible attraction she felt for Declan while being close to him. She got to see the tough, rough, mafia boss, as well as the kind and gentle man within.
2. Declan
“… he’s warm and heavy and smells faintly of peppermint and something spicy, and I hope that’s a gun in his pants pockets because HOLY…” (Carnal urges by jt Geisinger)
Get your mind out of the gutter! Or don’t.
Declan is the blue-eyed, handsome devil with an Irish accent to die for. He is possessive, and dominating, and does not like the way Sloane does her things at first. He feels her crawling up his skin, devouring his mind with her charms, and like most other men, he falls in love with her. But he is determined to tame her and would not hesitate to spank her if it came to it-literally.
However, will that be good enough to impress the beautiful goddess who uses and discards men like they are thrashed, or does he accomplish something that no other man has ever done before?

They quickly dash into a car, but before that, Sloane was shocked by the brief form of affection Declan had shown her. He caught her when she missed a step and nearly fell. Inside the car, they resume their usual fights, but Declan is surprised to hear that Sloane has handled an AK-47 before. Her ex-boyfriend Stavros was the pioneer.
The chapter concludes with a clumsy display of jealousy by Declan when Sloane told him she wanted to call Natalie to let her know she was fine. Natalie’s boyfriend who is also a mafia lord has gotten involved in Sloane’s kidnapping and he was not going to back down until Declan was down.

Declan and Sloane gave us what we have all been waiting for and they began in the shower. Never has a sex scene been so perfectly written!
