Kingdom of the Cursed is the second installment of the Kingdom of The Wicked Trilogy. The fantasy romance story is emotional and enchanting and is bound to keep you interested and hungry for more chapters.
Once again, Kerri Maniscalco doesn’t disappoint. The author wrote a true paragon book, intense and filled with adventure. You will find yourself rooting for Emilia to avenge Vittoria’s death and finally open her eyes and truly see Wrath, who actually takes good care of her.
I love the dynamics between Wrath and Emilia. They are both stubborn, they seem to annoy each other and even though their relationship started off with hate, they eventually become fond of each other and even harbor a hidden lust for one another.

Emilia reminds Wrath that she always has a choice. Wrath doesnt want to discuss what happened in the cave, but Emilia insists on talking about it. The man has no other choice but to give in and listen to the girl.
Emilia confesses that things are all clear for her now. She knew that Wrath wanted her to refuse Pride, but the reason for him bringing her to his brother is still a mystery. Her family of witches always talked about the wicked as being liars and manipulators but Wrath implies that her relatives may have intentionally left out some parts of the stories.
The girl realizes that her Nonna did in fact leave out some interesting details such as the Horns of Hades, which she and her sister were given at birth. Ulterior, they were used to lock the gates of Hell.
Nonna always tried to teach the girls about demons and never left out any important lesson. Vittoria found the book of spells, used demon magic to seal her diary, and brought Greed and shape shifters together for a reason. Emilia needed to know exactly why she did those things.
Later, the girl meets Fauna who jokes that there are rumors about Emilia saying that the girl has serpents for hair, has a tongue office, and spits flames when angry. She eventually admits she’s just kidding, as no one dares joke this way knowing that Wrath is in the residence.
Kingdom of the Cursed Chapter 9
Wrath’s kiss consumed, Emilia. She felt seduced and was willing to be damned by the man who was no angel. She needed him and she couldn’t deny it anymore. She asked him to kiss her over and over again and the man complied with her wishes.
As they entered the building, demons started bowing to prince Wrath who introduced Emilia as their future queen. Wrath threatens the demons to respect the girl, otherwise, they will answer to him.
They sat at the table and soon after Emilia was introduced to Lord Baylor Makaden, the demon who used to make crude comments. Ladies and lords sat beside them at the table and trays of food were immediately brought for them to enjoy.
Lord Makaden makes a snarky comment towards Emilia, asking her if she has ever experienced something as pleasurable as demon fare, as she eats with such craving. He then makes some sexual innuendos towards Emilia which result in the man’s tongue being cut off by Wrath.
