Lilac was young when her mother died. Her mother was probably the Luna’s sister, as she took the baby at once and raised her as her own. Since she was intelligible enough when it happened, the Luna could not avoid her knowing she was adopted. But she requested that Lilac started calling her mother, and it stuck.
That day was the first best day that Lilac had in her life. She loved her new family very much, how could she not? She’d been taken in by the alpha and luna of Golden Claw Pack. What could be better for an orphan?
The second day that outbested her first was the day she discovered that her fated mate was their son and future alpha —Aiden. The momy she was already calling the Luna became more lively in her mouth, and much truthful to her mind. The entire pack was happy, and so were the Alpha and Luna.
But there’d been a problem. A war was brewing among werewolves and lycan’s. And Lilac and Aiden had been fated just a week before the werewolves of the Golden Claw Pack could match to war with other affected packs. But little did Lilac know that while she’d been reading and blushing all over the paper, two months before the end of the war, the alpha and luna were angry over another paper from the same Aiden.
They continued to keep this secret and in the two months before his return, Lilac continued to receive his letters and enjoyed every bit of reading them. Now, she was being prepared to become the future Luna who would reign with Aiden.
Therefore, on the day when the warriors were returning, she stood alongside the alpha and Luna. Tightly squeezing the Luna’s hand as she stifled her excitement at the sight of her lover after a whole year. Her first instinct was to run to him and hug him where he stood, but since she could nolonger act at will, she continued to wait.
When he finally arrived before his father, followed by the crowd of soldiers who’d survived the war, Aiden bowed and proudly shook his father’s hand. Then went over and hugged his mother, as Lilac continued to wait for her turn. When he released the Luna’s hug, Lilac closed the gap and attempted to hug her lover.
But Aiden took quick steps back and left her lowering her hands to her sides. He shifted as a pretty lady, dressed in red stepped out from behind him. He introduced her as the woman he’d written to the alpha and luna about two months ago.
Nobody agreed to answer Lilac’s questions. It was even more heart breaking that the woman was sleeping in Aiden’s room. What was going on? Well, since they said to wait until after the dinner in honor of the werewolves who’d died in the war, she decided to wait.
