Meetings with strangers are a regular occurrence in life, especially at public places like bus stops. This was the story of Shen Shan, a regular working lady in this book called When I Met you.
At the bus park, Shen Shan was crying profusely about reasons that concerned her deeply, when she met a mysterious man. She felt someone next to her and turned to see him, Jia Han, smiling back at her warmly and offering his face towel for her to wipe her tears with.
Shen Shan was taken aback at first, but along the line, she started to open up to this man while she cried intensely. She felt comfortable doing that around him, a complete stranger. Little did Shen Shan know that the man had come to her in a wheelchair.
Shen Shan felt that maybe, the reason why she was so free with him was that she sensed that he was incapacitated, so he wouldn’t amount to much harm to her.

Part 1: Storyline of When I Met You
Two months later in When I Met You, Shen Shan met Jia Han again. She had a friend of hers who had been confiding in, and complaining to her that she was a victim of abuse at the office, sexual abuse.
Shen Shan’s friend told her that her superior at the office always forcibly touched her inappropriately. The lady obviously could not take it anymore, as nothing was being done about it after she informed Shen Shan, so she killed herself. Shen Shan took the issue up personally only after her friend died.
While Shen Shan was trying to find out what had happened to her friend with her superior colleague of hers, and while she tried to press charges, she was often up and about, and not concentrating on her own job at the company that she worked for. As a result of this, she got fired from her job.
With a terrible reputation out there, Shen Shan could not boast of the assurance of being hired in any company. She had a bad track record.
Following up with some other events that had happened in the city akin to hers, in When I Met You, Shen Shan got caught up with being served justice on behalf of her late friend. She was also in and out of odd jobs.
One day, she went to an art gallery and was absent-mindedly admiring the art pieces, when she met Jia Han again. Shen Shan recognized him at once, as he had made a striking impression on her when they first met each other.

In When I Met you, Shen Shan and Jia Han conversed for a while, and then she finally opened up to him that she was in need of a job, and also ranted about what she had been going through. This was the first time that Jia Han would ever openly communicate with her.
He wrote in a piece of paper that he was looking for an art salesperson. Apparently, the gallery that Shen Shan was in belonged to Jia Han, and well his brother. After Jia Han hired Shen Shan to work for him, their bond became closer. Jia Han didn’t take advantage of the fact that Shen Shan was seemingly in desperate need of a job, no.
He treated her with respect, paid her well, even better than her former job, and listened to her when she had anything to say. For example, Shen Shan didn’t like the fact that he displayed artwork without advertising a price tag as well.
She saw it as a way to be dubious of the fact that the artiste was a proud person. Oftentimes, they argued, and when Jia Han’s brother sought to sack Shen Shan from the job due to whatever reason he had up his sleeve, Jia Han refused.

Intense beginning chapters start the creation of this classic book by an author with focus and something to narrate. Yes, this is not one of the pretty much “‘ baseless” online stories that one reads day in and out online, no. When I Met You has the rare qualities that most books can’t afford to carry online. Qualities like purpose, intent, purity, and heart-felt love between two unlikely strangers make the book a pretty intense and worthwhile read.
In When I Met You Shen Shan met Jai Han by chance at the bus park, she was crying her eyes out for some reason and immediately leaned into him, Jin Han gave her a shoulder to cry on, and they soon called it a night. This happened naturally. Fast forward to two months later, Shen Shan meets Jin Han again when she needs him the most and he offers her help, but there were problems.
Part 3: Evaluate When I Met You
When I Met You is a decent book. It is the sort that is likely to win an award for portraying values that humans hold dear to them. The author maintains a balance between humor and seriousness, so the book just keeps the reader in the right spot, frequency speaking. Clear-cut grammar, concise and distinct, When I Met You Book is a hundred percent recommended by me.
