The Black Necromancer is about a young man called Leon Cromwell. He was a regular guy at first, working in a diner and was at the verge of landing himself a deal at a modelling agency when he got hit by a truck and died? Or maybe he was in a coma? However, he was lifeless in the regular world, but dropped into a pile of debris in a ghost town, and guess what? He landed as an Obsidian Skeleton Soldier. In the abandoned cathedral that Leon landed in ghost town, he had to fight to survive, and increase his status if he was going to make it out alive. Of course, he had no idea where he was. He didn’t even know that he woke up as a Skeleton Soldier until after a while. When he tried to carry out normal human actions like smile, or blink, or move his fingers, he found out that none of his features moved. It was the first time something like this happened that he yelped in surprise at his new looks.
It takes a gaming and simulation fanatic to stay interested in this book past the first twenty chapters because it solely talks about how Leon Cromwell was fighting in the novice stage of the simulation he encountered via death. He had to make it past a dungeon of a faction of millipede and centipede nests. How irky it must have been for him, or not? Not, because he was a Skeleton and was as bland as iron, so the irritating movements of several millipedes and centipedes at the same time didn’t get to him.

Part 1: Storyline of The Black Necromancer
Leon fought with these millipedes and centipedes in different stages. There were soldiers, and there were big and small ones. They all had hierarchy, and they were menacing. Getting past them would help Leon move to the next level because only through increasing his rank and status, would he be able to leave that cathedral that he appeared to be trapped in. A great part of the beginning of the book seems repetitive because the author only talks about how Leon fought with these anthropods. However, of course, he would leave the cathedral at the end of the day, and there would be other interesting plots and scenarios, but you wouldn’t be able to find out about them unless you read past the chapters were he was caught struggling at the cathedral against the anthropods.
The Black Necromancer fell into the cathedral on a pile of worn-out debris, and found the place littered with all sorts of weapons, though they were worn out. He made do with them by sharpening them on stones that had disintegrated from the abandoned cathedral building, and used them to fight these monsters with green blood. But The Black Necromancer, who is a skeleton soldier is too fierce to spend all that time fighting millipedes and centipedes, right? One would think so, after having such a frightening look like the grim reaper, why would The Black Necromancer Ospidian Skeleton Soldier bother with creeping things? The author tries to tell us that a novice is a novice by all means, no matter how fierce looking. The author also vaguely makes mention of how Leon Cromwell considered himself living a life that was not worth it in the regular world, so finding himself in ghost town did not disturb him so much because there was nothing for him back home. Well, apart from Megan, his love interest, and colleague at the diner, even though he had not confessed his feelings to her before he became lifeless.
Part 2: Main Characters from The Black Necromancer
Leon Cromwell
Leon Cromwell is The Black Necromancer. He started off as a regular guy who lived practically from hand to mouth, and worked at a diner. In the beginning of the book, he was seen handing out servings to customers at the diner he worked in, and happened to stumble on a modelling agent who offered him a chance to start a modelling career in a renown modelling agency. Skeptical at first, Leon did not make up his mind until his love interest, Megan advised him to go for it. Leon closed from work with his colleagues and parted ways with them. Now sure of the fact that he would join the modelling agency, he got distracted while making a phone call to the agent that had discussed with him concerning the vacancy, and happened to get hit by a truck, and passed out. He woke up in a ghost town as a full blown Ospidian Skeleton Soldier, where he had to fight gory creeping monsters to survive.
Megan
Megan worked in the same diner as Leon Cromwell, The Black Necromancer Ospidian Skeleton Soldier. But at the time they worked together, who knew what Leon’s fate would be? She was a light hearted girl that attracted Leon with her beauty and kind heart. She saw him for more than a mere waiter at a diner, and asked him to grab the opportunity to become a model. It was easy for her to coax Leon into taking the opportunity as the agent that took an interest in Leon was an old friend. Megan didn’t have an idea about Leon having an eye for her, and did everything out of pure friendship with him. Her voice was the last voice that Leon heard before he got hit by a truck and transformed into The Black Necromancer.
