Lunar Witch is a reverse-harem novel by M. Sinclair. It talks about the tale of Deva, an orphan, who went through the worse as a child before she decided to stand up for herself and try to run away. Her evil perpetrator thought he was doing her evil, but in the long run, Deva made good use of her position. She was used as a specimen.

Raw forms of magic were infused, planted, and stitched into Deva’s veins and body, as in literally installed and sewn into her body, so one can imagine the sort of pain she must have been going through. How can anyone cast a spell and infuse it into the body of a human being? The person had to be outrageously demented. I have only heard about human stitching in the popular tales of Frankenstein, but Deva faced such brutality in her life as a child. Another shocking experience that Deva faced was the fact that she had died and been forced back alive countless times.

For whatever reason, she died, either by her evil perpetrator killing her, or she died naturally, she was going to be returned because it would be an avenue for more magic to be installed into her. As a result of this, Deva possessed so many forms of magic.

Part 1: Main Story of Lunar Witch

Luna Witch Book

In Lunar Witch Book, Deva made up her mind to escape from her difficult life. Already, she lived on the ‘street.” Yes, she was trained wrongly in witchcraft, and ended up as a pickpocket on the street while she bullied other witches that did not have enough potency.

Having had enough suffering for a single lifetime, Deva thought to put an end to her misery, so she started to try and seek a way out. The truth was that Deva had suffered a lot, and had become desperate.

She suffered so much to the extent that she had flashbacks of the pain and torment she faced at the hand of her perpetrator. An orphan, she literally had no one to turn to for help so she was used and abused to the maximum. Now, she thought to find a way out. She had to help herself. A Lunar Witch, she used the power of the full moon to her advantage as much as she could.

A specific example of when Deva used various forms of magic and witchcraft to aid herself was when she stole the Moonstone from a place where she would later turn to for help. The Dark Imaginarium Academy. Deva was spotted when she tried to do this.

As a result of her having possession of the Moonstone a lot of other witches wanted her, they either wanted to make her submit to them so that she could be controlled, or they wanted to dissect her, or just wanted to dominate her via various ways by marking her body.

It was a huge run for Deva, a Lunar Witch. One interesting fact about this story is that the perpetrators that sought to use Deva for various reasons were so sure that she would not be able to delve into as much as would be able to hurt them.

They saw her as an innocent girl that could not do more than the regular mischief and forms to seek freedom, unknown to them that the darkest parts of Deva’s soul had been unlocked as a result of past horrible adventures that she had endeared.

Description

Luna Witch Deva

The story starts with a description. The author is gracious enough to explain the plot of the book before the chapters that act out the story follow.

Deva tells us about how she had been used for personal gain by mere mortals like her, and she decides that it would stop. She hides until she could hide no more, and then she finds a solution to her problem.

These mortals that were witches like her, took her for granted, thinking that they could inflict as much horror on her as they liked and that Deva won’t do anything about it more than the rarest minimum, but they didn’t know that she had reached a breaking point, and would unlock the darkest parts of her soul if that would earn her freedom.

Prologue

Luna Witch Full Book

An interesting plot indeed. Lunar Witch Deva set off on a journey that readers would end up finding out is The Dark Imaginarium Academy which held a chest of different magical artifacts.

From there Deva stole a Moonstone. She also comes in contact with a Shadow witch that of course, demands that she returned ‘whatever she stole.”

Deva lied that she took just a dagger, and then she hid the Moonstone in her breast, enduring the seething pain that it caused her, after all, she was used to pain as her former perpetrator had dissected her a lot, and cast spells under her skin, stitching and storing them there.

How horrendous. ‘Astaroth’s Dead Doll.” This was the title that Deva’s perpetrator gave to her as his toy and plaything. How demented could one person be?
