People who are in love should learn to speak up about their feelings to each other, I think the world would be a better place and life would be easier.
In Bringing The Nation’s Husband Home Book, Qiao Anhao and Lu Jinnian were in love but they didn’t confess their love for each other, instead, they got married for some reason both of them wanted to fulfill. In this marriage, they were hiding their marital status from every other person, and only both of them knew that they were married.
I don’t understand. Why the complication? So, something happened at the beginning of the book that kickstarted the plot of the book.
Lu Jinnian got drunk, and Qiao Anhao got drunk as well, which led to both of them doing the sacred deed that they had decided not to do because their marriage was fake, and they were “‘not in love” with each other. It pained Lu Jinnian so much that he got physical with Qiao Anhao.

Lu Jinnian woke up the next morning, furious at the fact that Qiao Anhao slept with him, or allowed him to sleep with her, or what? I really don’t get his anger because both of them were drunk, so it’s not as if one was taking advantage of the other. Anyway, as a result, he yelled at Qiao Anhao and demanded to know why she allowed them to sleep with each other.
They had been married for four months and had never touched each other until this fateful night. When Lu Jinnian asked, Qiao Anhao gave a flimsy reason for her allowing them to have intercourse, she said that it was because she wanted a role in “‘The End Of Time,” a TV show that Lu Jinnian’s company was currently filming. Lu Jinnian was taken aback by her confession. The way he reacted was confusing to me, to be honest. Was he upset? Was his pride hurt that she didn’t agree that she had been trying to get into his pants and seized the opportunity to do it? Lu Jinnian reacted very harshly when Qiao Anhao made this confession.
To be honest, she should have just maintained the claim that she was drunk, she didn’t have to sell herself so cheaply. Lu Jinnian promised to make her life miserable, regardless. What was his problem, really? Why was he so mad at her? Moving forward, three days later, Qiao Anhao received a call from “‘The End Of Time” TV executives for her to come for an audition. An audition that she passed, made her wonder if she genuinely passed that audition, or if Lu Jinnian had pulled some strings and ordered the crew to hire her.
Qiao Anhao was given a role that was not so bad. In fact, the role was not bad at all. She was not the lead female, but she was not an extra either, she had a decent role that would enable her to get seen. She wondered if it was a result of Lu Jinnian’s influence or if she truly earned the role.
Meanwhile, Lu Jinnian was away abroad to shoot another movie that he was involved in, and the entire time, he still had Qiao Anhao in mind. She was his wife after all, even though they were playing a game. As soon as Lu Jinnin returned from his trip abroad no matter how briefly, he was back looking for ways to bother Qiao Anhao. He loved her, although he was finding it difficult to own up.
Three months away from Qiao Anhao didn’t stop him from running towards her as soon as he figured out that Qiao Anhao might be at a dinner organized by the cast and crew of “‘The End Of Time,” to celebrate a successful movie shoot. Qiao Anhao could not run far enough from Lu Jinnin, no matter how hard she tried to. She could run, but she definitely could not hide.

Qiao Anhao
The lead female of Bringing The Nations Husband Home, Qiao Anhao was a regular female that wanted the best out of life. At least if she could not afford the best, she could afford something close to it. She had been in love with Lu Jinnin for thirteen years but she never said anything to him about it. Qiao Anhao was a budding movie star that worked in Lu Jinnin’s company, she was also married to him, even though they decided to keep it a secret from the public, as well as stay away from each other as regards sex and the likes.

Lu Jinnin was the lead male of Bringing Home The Nations Husband Book. He was handsome, tall, broad, and cold, just like every typical male lead. He was in love with Qiao Anhao as well, but it was a secret he must have intended to die with. For some reason, he showed more hate than love for Qiao Anhao.
I mean, it was one thing to love her and not tell her about it, but outrightly showing hate was definitely another level of obsession. Hate is also a form of love, so I think that the only way Lu Jinnin could show how much he loved Qiao Anhao, was by hating her. But why was he this way? Was the gap in class between them too vast for Lu Jinnin to identify with her? Find out when you read the book.
Part 3: Evaluate Bringing The Nations Husband Home
Bringing The Nations Husband Home is a simple and decent book. Easy to read, the book also has a catchy plot. I love the pace of the book, and how the author starts the first chapter of the book with some saucy action, it got me hooked to the book, and I know it will get others hooked as well.
