Alexander’s personality is quietly accepting but unshakable when his mind is made up. Kayleigh is the more restless, but adorable sort. The two people never thought that after a simple meeting at a bar moments before, they would be a married couple. For Alexander, this was not a disaster at all, but rather a blessing. For Kayleigh, it was a death sentence. Her family and fianc’ will have her head for this stunt. Even the divorce that she thought would be finalized, was drawn back. Maybe the universe did consider her cursed. But then, there was the other factor. The marriage proved that what they had said about her wasn’t true.

Part 1: Plot Summary of Addicted To My Accidental Husband
The story follows Kayleigh who is the wedding planner for the most unreasonable couple she has ever dealt with. They kept changing arrangements and necessities. It gave Kayleigh a headache so severe that she’d had to go to the hospital. She had let her assistant handle everything until she was back on her feet. When it was finally the day of the ceremony, however, the bride goes missing. It is revealed that she ran away from her wedding.
Kayleigh was in a terrible situation because of this and the only idea that they could think of to salvage the whole thing, was for another bride to be brought in as a replacement. Everybody else present was either male or pregnant. Therefore, the responsibility fell on Kayleigh. She could only handle so much distressing news in one day. She ran off and got in an elevator. A handsome stranger got in after her and after a short conversation, they were drinking and talking about the cause of the drinking. He was the wedding crasher, and she was the runaway.
Kayleigh made up her mind and went back to the wedding. She prepared herself to be married to a much older man. However, through her tears, as her veil was lifted, the man she saw was not the slightest bit old. He was the same man she had met in the elevator. It was a pleasant surprise but now that the ceremony was over, Kayleigh had to face the music with her family and fianc’. How was she to explain to her very traditional family tat she had married a man for a job and wanted to divorce soon?

Kayleigh David
She is a young woman, born and raised in a traditional home. Kayleigh has always been known to fail at any semblance of a romantic relationship. She never understood why they all left her. It was always one reason or the other. Her family said she was cursed, and Kayleigh honestly believed it. She was subsequently quite fortunate to find Sebastian, a man she loved. They were engaged to be married. All of these are the reasons why it was exceedingly difficult for Kayleigh to accept this unexpected development. I mean, she was this close to reaching her goal of conjugal bliss. Yet, this fiasco emerged, and she’d had to marry another man whom she would divorce in no time.
Kayleigh could only suppress her anxiety as she hoped that everything would be settled with the divorce and that she can move on with her life. Her family did not have to know. But the universe is a bitch. A twist of events made her family aware of her doings. They are not happy that they could not attend her wedding. But more than that, what would be their reaction to the truth?
Kayleigh is a wonderful protagonist. She is comical and pragmatic. Especially considering her profession. She is a woman who does not hide her feelings or emotions. Kayleigh lives a life that is made on her terms despite family input. She is worthy of being the protagonist.
Part 3: Amazing Chapter from Addicted To My Accidental Husband
Chapter Five
Alfie had gone and shared on his vlog about the events of the previous day. Even without saying anything about the client, he shared a video showing Kayleigh being kissed quite passionately by Alexander after the pronouncement. The news quickly spread just like that. Kayleigh got a call from her brother which she ignored. She freaked out and forgot about Alex who was in the bathroom, taking a shower. He came out and she completely forgot what she was worrying about when she saw him in all his naked glory. Her wild thoughts put heat in her cheeks. She jokingly asks to join him in the shower, but when he tries to pull her in, she mischievously ran away.
When Alexander emerges, he meets Kayleigh ignoring a phone call. He asks about it, and she nods to indicate she would answer. When she picks up the call, it is to receive her father’s scolding. Next was her mother’s crying, then finally it was her grandmother’s nagging. The elderly woman made her give the phone to Alexander. Kayleigh witnessed the sweet way he spoke with her. Not a moment later, they were set to go and see Kayleigh’s family later in the day. Soon, the conversation entered the embarrassment category, and a baby was mentioned.
With the call ended, Alexander subsequently canceled his flight and told Chase not to bring the divorce papers yet, because his wife is ovulating.
