Told in the first-person point of view, The Wallflower And The Alphas was under the romantic fantasy genre which focused on the life of a hybrid creature named Avery Williams. It was the first book of the Four Mates Series and comprised 190 pages in all.
A short read which could be finished within three to four hours in one sitting. With a total of 51 thousand words, this teen paranormal romance caught its readers since its debut. For almost a year, a lot of critics gave promising reviews, although some suggested that the book must undergo bloody editing for it had some grammatical errors that needed to be corrected.
Knowing that it was independently published in an interactive app, it was inevitable for the author to overlook those mistakes. Also, it would be categorized under the reverse harem as it was centered on the female protagonist being pursued or courted by two or more male characters in the story.
Reverse harem usually has seven or more male leads but in this book, there are only four men trying to win the heart of the female lead. The first few chapters were indeed engaging and if I were you, I would throw away my reluctance giving some time for this out-of-this-world love story and journey to self-discovery.

Part 1: Hot Characters and Astounding Highlights of The Wallflower And The Alphas
Avery Williams is not just an ordinary werewolf or a plain witch. She had two different sides and was a hybrid creature who had a wolf named Angelstar and her Veela, Anglica. Unlike the other female protagonists in novels with the same theme, Avery is a simple young lady.
But amidst her candor and modesty, she got an innate potential that she had to unleash. Yet, this aloof nerdy young lady got a pretty face and an inexplicable aura that could not be denied. In spite of her introverted personality, she had four men trying to pursue her.
Usually, there is only one man who is fated for a Luna but in The Wallflower And The Alphas, Avery had not only one but four mates in total.
Those guys were equally handsome and had delectable sexy bodies. It suddenly made me realize how lucky Avery was for having four men in her life. However, despite the good looks that her mates, they were all bad boys with rude attitudes. They were the most popular guys on the school campus and were known as the four horsemen Alphas.
During their childhood, Avery and the four handsome men were good friends. They all get along well. It just that when they all grew up, their treatment towards her changed, those Alphas became mean to her and turned out to be her school bullies.
The first one was Elijah Woods, the sole son of parents who just died from a pack war. He was the main leading man among the four. Meanwhile, there was Jake Stone. He was not the worst of them all, but he just did not want to stop bullying Avery.
While Andrew Bradford and Matthew Steele were also mistreating the female protagonist, playing the bad boy character. But all of them were just trying to hide their profound attraction towards Avery. It was like a love-hate relationship but in the end, there was only one among the four who would stand out.
Part 2: The Wallflower And The Alphas Enticing Chapters
As The Wallflower and The Alphas continued, the love story between the gorgeous Alphas and Avery went complicated. It was not a typical love triangle, it also consisted of action and adventure. Knowing that the BlueHawk Pack was against the RedBlood Pack, the bond that was built between Avery and Elijah was harder than it seems.
The bloody past still affected their present lives. Avery was told that she was the greatest wolf that would ever live, and the rest was history. Her character was full of mystery, and it made me turn the pages as fast as I could. The excitement within me was ignited in the middle of the book up to the last chapter.
The ending was indeed good, yet I was not that satisfied. Yet, overall, it was a job well done for the author. I would love to elaborate on the entire story but I don’t want to spoil that much. Avery’s character was the best thing in The Wallflower and The Alphas, she was like a heroine that rose from the ashes.
She emerged into a much better version of herself not only physically but as a woman specifically. And for me, it was the true essence of being feminine. A woman who knows how to stand up on her own feet makes a great difference in the world she was living in.
Part 3: Find Yourself in The Wallflower And The Alphas
Most probably, I would search for stories like The Wallflower And The Alphas. Although it was not my first time reading such a trope, this one made me think of discovering more novels regarding Lunas with multiple mates or Alphas.
An intriguing story that catches my attention right at the beginning. I might say that it needed some improvement when it comes to dialogue structure and the narratives, yet overall, a thumbs up for the extraordinary plot. And I want to give a 3 over 5-star rating.
