Best Werewolf Romance Novel Review: The Alpha King’s Human Mate

No need to glorify these beasts any longer. This book takes every romanticized idea of werewolves and gives it a dark spin. Honestly, I frowned so hard at the start of this book. Why? It was practically pulling all the raw emotions I try to contain. Werewolf domination and human enslavement? Lol, I wanted to transmigrate into the book and do it 21st-century style: human bomb.

Who can say that they never thought of such a thing happening one day? Humans suddenly level at the bottom of the food chain. Maybe an alien invasion: That human communities suddenly become Alien colonies. Or we could use the popular one: a robot uprising. Don’t you think it’s possible for human technology to suddenly be the thing that makes the human race become nearly extinct?

This book tests your patience for a world like that. How much of that crap can you handle before you lose your mind. The two choices you get in the werewolf world immediately place upon you the status of ‘object’. That’s all the human race is to them, just pure tools. You’re automatically a tool for manual labor before you acquire the ‘mate’ title. But another annoying this is that not every human could be a mate of a werewolf. Therefore, a person can only pray to the Force that is, hoping for a break.

Part 1: Plot Summary of Alpha King’s Human Mate

The story follows Milla as she navigates through a world of pain, anguish, terror, and suffering of the human race. A world where humans are worthless, and their blood by the size of a tank only costs a penny. The humans live under the regime of the wolves. They either fall in line, follow the laws set for them by the wolves, or die as rebels.

It’s a world where humans are raped by wolves because they are the stronger species. The humans toil tirelessly every day for the wolves. But, there’s still a bit of hope that things will change. How would they change? It is very simple, just be the mate of a werewolf.

It is unfortunate, however, that not every human gets to be a mate. Not that it was better being submissive to the torture of these beasts as their mate, but rather than working for the rest of their lives, this was a better deal.

The Alpha King hates rogues, but other than that group of wayward wolves, he hates humans just as much. I wonder if his tune will change if the universe blessed him with a human mate. Maybe he could accept this chosen partner, or maybe he would choose to rip out parts of his flesh than be bound to a human mate.

We look down on the saying, ‘you attract what you hate’. It’s exciting what could happen. To see how this world is overtaken by werewolves will fare when the unexpected happens. When it causes more than a ripple within the messed up system the wolves created. What will the Alpha King do?

Part 2: Main Characters of The Alpha King’s Human Mate

Milla

The Alpha King's Human Mate: Milla

She found herself alone at a young age after her sister was taken to be the mate of a werewolf. Milla lives her life in constant exhaustion and fear of what would happen to her in this world of werewolves. Her friends could be counted on one finger.

Milla is tired of the daily manual labor she had to go through, and it’s quite understandable. However, this is her fate as a human. Milla dreams of the world before the werewolves took over.

She heard it was beautiful and she can’t help herself fantasizing about it. Nevertheless, she knows her fate is sealed as a human. Her only option for a better life now was to be a werewolf’s mate. She fervently wishes for this. And, the universe might just grant her that wish.

The Alpha King

Known for his brutal nature, the Alpha King is positioned high above all the other wolves. He hates rogues and has no qualms about killing them. As for humans, he detests them. They were completely worthless, therefore they had no place in front of his eyes. Unfortunately for him, his world is about to shift, and how he handles it might determine the future of his people.

Part 3: Awesome Chapters from The Alpha King’s Human Mate

The Alpha King's Human Mate - Novel

Chapter One

Milla is working the fields alongside her friend, Fin. They are being supervised by the werewolf guard. It only takes a snide but a well-deserved comment from Fin for matters to escalate. Milla does what she can to quell the guard’s rage.

However, he still throws Fin to the corner, making him crumble in a pathetic heap. After which, the guard’s foot made it’s way to the top of Fin’s neck. Milla pleads for her friend’s life and the guard let up from his neck.

Fin is unable to finish his part of the work because of his injuries, therefore Milla offers to help him. By the time she is done with the work, the bus that was to take her to her residence is gone. The guard tries to have his the way with her, but he is quickly repelled by the sign of a mark on her.

He could not understand the situation, but he couldn’t risk offending the one that had marked her, in case that wolf was someone in a high position.

Chapter Three

In this chapter of The Alpha King’s Human Mate, we see Milla recalling her sister, Kiara. She was with Milla at first, but after demonstrating a plan that wasn’t very well thought out properly, she was taken. Kiara was taken off by her mate, the enforcer. He went as far as to threaten Kiara with Milla’s death, in order to ensure that Kiara wouldn’t retaliate.

The next time Milla sees her sister, there is a notable change in Kiara. That is aside from the mark she had to prove she was fully mated.

When Milla returns home from the fields, she finds the same man who took her sister, sitting on her couch.

The Alpha King’s Human Mate is a great read. You will love this piece.
