As is common in werewolf romance, the male lead here in Alpha Devon and His Forbidden Mate is the dream guy type. Devon is every female wolf’s dream man. Handsome. Sexy. And to add his promising future of being the heir to his father’s rank.

He is respected in the pack and feared and of course, he’s living a life where there are many expectations of him. This is the reason why he ends up engaging with Laney.

But blame it on the mate pull, on his wedding day, he instead pursues his mate, Raven instead of his bride who was just waiting in the next room.

So, I am expecting a lot of character development of Devon here in Alpha Devon And His Forbidden Mate. I’m hoping to see a man who took the courage and responsibility to stand up for his beloved.

So, when I read through the cliffhanger of Alpha Devon And His Forbidden Mate, I had hoped that Raven would become a strong heroine in the middle of the plot. But in the beginning chapters of Alpha Devon And His Forbidden Mate, we got a bullied, weak, female lead. Raven’s character, at first, was introduced that way.

For me, she wasn’t as striking as the other female leads I read, but she is promising. I am hoping to see a great development of her character as more revelations about her past were laid here in Alpha Devon And His Forbidden Mate.

Basically, Alpha Devon And His Forbidden Mate is a love story against all odds. I think this is what makes the story appealing. Though the Alpha and Omega love story is very common here in Alpha Devon And His Forbidden Mate we are given a lot of entertaining themes that revolve around forbidden love, plus a cliffhanger that makes the female lead’s background intriguing.

As for the storytelling, I could say that Alpha Devon And His Forbidden Mate was written and told simply like those other werewolves books I read. Nothing is striking about the storytelling yet its simplicity gives us clarity.

I followed all the events in the story. On the other hand, it’s how the plot was presented, and the unfolding of the events that keep my interest, and sustain my reading.

” Yeah, a love story with this theme may sound old school, but this still has its appeal to the readers. So, all in all, I could say that Alpha Devon And His Forbidden Mate is a love story forbidden in a real sense. There are many revelations awaiting that I don’t want to spoil.

It’s better if you read the book. As for my recommendation, I think this book, Alpha Devon And His Forbidden Mate is a great choice particularly for young adult readers and for werewolf romance lovers.
