He doesn’t spare her the time to finish a sentence and with the shitty life Caroline has, it’s no surprise what she does next. Yes, Caroline slapped the money for her stepsister’s jewelry in the man’s face. She was already having a bad day, to begin with, an arrogant shit just made it worse. *I smiled at that part. The asshole deserved it.*

Chapter One
Caroline watches her parents fight. It’s more of a one-sided beating as her father doesn’t hesitate to use his hands on her mother. Her mother found out about her father cheating and he served her divorce papers. Caroline watched her mother get thrown out. Even despite the woman pleading for her daughter to be allowed to leave with her, the brute refused.
Afterward, Caroline’s father comes for her. He makes her get him wine, and the next thing is an empty glass flying toward Caroline. She dodges but falls on the floor covered in glass. Her father doesn’t care that she was bleeding out, rather he warns her about the stain on the carpet.
When he leaves, Caroline can only close her eyes to sweet unconsciousness. But, when she opens them the next day, she comes face to face with the trashy bimbo her father brought out of nowhere to be her stepmother.
Chapter Two
It’s Nadia’s birthday, Caroline’s best friend. Unfortunately, Caroline can’t go to Nadia’s birthday party because of how her family is. Nadia is unhappy, but she knows it can’t be helped.
Caroline subsequently goes on the errand she was given, that is, to get her stepsister’s jewelry. Caroline is already frustrated and generally annoyed by her stepmother’s constant calling. All of it builds up and she became absentminded, causing her to crash. It was one thing to crash her father’s car, and it was another to scratch a stranger’s Bugatti. Her day couldn’t have been better. *Que the stranger’s angry roar.*
Chapter Three
Caroline is faced with the furious man whose car she scratched, and she apologizes as much as she can. Unfortunately, the man is not having it.
He scolds her and Caroline’s frustration can’t help but swells. He didn’t even let her finish a complete sentence. Annoyed to no end, Caroline takes the money given to her by her stepmother for her sister’s jewelry, and she threw it at the angry stranger. Well, that should fix the scratch.
When Caroline returns home, she faces the music. With the totaled car and the missing cash, her father is annoyed as hell. He doesn’t wait to use her as a slap cushion, even strangling her.
In Love With Mr. Billionaire is wonderfully written. Of course, you should get your stress ball, because it will take you on an emotional rollercoaster.
