Racer And The Jailbird | Book Review - Chapter 1

Racer and Jailbird started with a man who was released from jail. During this whole time, all he heard was the sounds of the creaking metallic gate of the prison. He was wearing black jeans, a pair of old loafers, and a blue cotton shirt. He took a deep breath in the air and then he started walking slowly.

His name was Chris Bawa, and he was about 30 years old. He spent 5 years of his life in prison. He was walking across the parking area, and he was thinking no one would come to pick him up. He was taking his first steps to freedom away from prison just like a racer and the jailbird.

When a black police jeep suddenly arrives heading from the direction of the central road towards the prison, he is around fifty meters away from the main prison entrance and moving toward the roadside. A tall, balding guy with rank braids and a police chief inspector’s insignia emerges from the jeep after it veers and blocks his route by taking up the entire width of the road.

He tried to get his head down. Now, Chris Bawa, sit down! This is your last word of advice! You’ll be killed by gunfire, Put your hands behind your back and squat down! now!!! Do it now. Shoot.

Auger is beyond enraged by his soothing voice. Just as he pulls back the hammer on his revolver, he notices two jail guards approaching them from inside the prison.

Racer and the jailbird one is BABA BROOKS, a stunning 30-year-old jail warden. The other is Chief Superintendent JON FII, a hefty, bespectacled 55-year-old prison chaplain.

When they notice Cougar covering Chris with his rifle, they both have completely terrified expressions. The Chaplain and Baba are left to look after him in complete disbelief as he rushes off in his jeep while yelling.

Racer And The Jailbird | Book Review - Chapter 2

In this chapter of Racer and the jailbird, Chris is frequently the subject of Baaba’s sly stares as she travels on the main road toward Achimota. Chris is sitting back in the chair, his head is back, his eyes are closed, and his hands are just hanging there.

Chris asked Baba since you were moved to the Grand Castle prison two years ago, you’ve been wonderful to me. Even when your coworkers tried their hardest to break me, you always treated me with respect.

You’ve undoubtedly heard negative rumors about me! What is this then? Why do you treat me so well? Her bottom lip was bitten. He keeps looking forward while holding the steering wheel tightly enough for her knuckles to almost be visible. She glances at him again, and he realizes how vulnerable she appears and how stunning she is.

Her lips briefly shake before she gives him a melancholy smile.

She looks at him with a smile and she brought him a mobile phone with a sim. He was in love with her before going to prison but now he is again seeing himself as attractive to her. She wanted to give him a phone on his birthday but because of prison rules, she couldn’t manage to give him one. When he turns on the screen. His smiling face was on the wallpaper.

Chris was telling him that he was married and how he spent his previous years without him, and under which circumstances he must go through. Baba breaks the silence and tells him that he is aware of everything that happened during his whole time in prison. He sounds a little rude and Chris got a heart after hearing all this.

Baaba realized and apologized to him because he didn’t mean to hurt him. Well, they ended up apologizing and forgiving each other in this racer and the jailbird novel.
