Part 1: Starting Of Even After Death Chapter 22
This chapter of Even After Death starts off with Ethan effortlessly giving Olivia some warmth but suddenly almost taking it back as soon as he woke up the following morning. Olivia had already seen that coming from a distance, but she felt that she could do with hanging on to the fragments of Ethan’s love and attention. She hardly came across it after all, so whenever it showed up for her, she milked it to the last drop in whichever possible way.

Ethan had been asking to divorce Olivia from the first chapter of the novel, so why was she still in bed with him in chapter 22? What was Ethan waiting for before getting the divorce from Olivia sorted? His action meant that he still loved Olivia but would rather live in denial.

Part 3: Ethan Wonders About Olivia’s Hair Loss
After having Olivia in his arms throughout the night and having her accuse him of being drunk as the reason he had his hands on her, an upset Ethan starts to leave the bedroom.
According to this chapter of Even After Death Novel, Ethan was upset because of the fact that he had to bother to explain the reason he was holding his own wife in bed. What about that divorce he was crazy about again? What was the delay?
Anyway, following the turn of events, Ethan tried to avoid confrontation from Olivia concerning why he touched her, so he grabbed his shirt and stormed out of the room but whatever he saw soon after shocked him. There was a ton of hair on Ethan’s shirt. It was Olivia’s hair.
Why? Olivia had complained about hair loss a long time ago, but she never made Ethan understand that it was so intense. Looking at the ton of Olivia’s hair that stuck to his shirt, Ethan wondered what was up. While he was in that state of shock and confusion, he remembered what Olivia told him in the near past. “I didn’t lie to you. I’m just sick.”
Ethan’s mind would not rest especially after he remembered the above statement from Olivia. He barged back into the bedroom that he had just stepped out from, to find out exactly what was wrong with Olivia.
Ethan, throughout the entire chapters one to twenty-two of Even After Death Novel, did not know that his wife was gravely ill. No matter how hard Olivia tried to inform Ethan of her sickness, he always thought that she was faking it. Now, he had seen her hair on his shirt, and he started to consider that maybe she was sick indeed.
As it has been stated already in this article, love must surely win in any situation unless it does not exist within that situation. After everything that Ethan had done to Olivia in the past, putting her through humiliating situations and hurting her verbally, physically, emotionally and mentally, he still had it in him to care about what was real. Olivia was losing her hair, and her health was gravely at stake.
