Nora never asked for much in her life. She had dedicated her time to saving people and she loved what she was doing, yet she gave everything up to be Daniel’s wife.

In this chapter it is revealed the reason why Daniel and Nora had to marry three years ago. Their grandparents got along pretty well and thy promised each to help their business thrive.
Because Nora’s family was having financial difficulties, Daniel’s grandmother urged him to marry the girl and help them out. The truth is that he never agreed to marry the woman. He wanted to be with his childhood sweetheart but he couldn’t say no to him grandmother.
Although Daniel married Nora, he promised to never fall in love with her. On the other hand, Nora was head over heels for her husband. She knew that Lucy, his grandma wanted an heir, yet Daniel made sure they never conceived a baby.
Things got difficult when Daniel started coming home less and less. Nora had heard rumors about Aria coming back in town and one day she even spotted Daniel with her. They were holding hands and heading towards the hotel Aria was staying at.
Nora followed the two love birds and knocked on their door only to find Daniel answering unbothered by her presence. When his girlfriend asked who was at the door, Daniel said it was a nobody.
His words stung, thus Nora knew it was time to go on with her life, get a divorce. She apologized for disrupting them and went her way.
Part 3: Billionaire Romance Book Review: The CEO Irresistible Ex-Wife
One of the things I like about billionaire romance genre is the idea of having a female lead bold enough to make a man eat his own words. Daniel openly declared that he would never fall in love with Nora but he loved her heaps before they even got divorced. He just didn’t realize it.
The hot and cold game between Daniel and Nora is entertaining as Daniel keeps pulling and pushing Nora away constantly. He is too proud to own up to his feelings, putting the two of them through an unnecessary divorce.
In the end, I enjoyed his 180 degrees turn as he started doting on Nora openly, even offering to get married again. He used his grandmother as a pretext for marrying Nora again but we know that he was actually asking from the bottom of his heart.
