The story delves into the life of Lucianne, a resilient Gamma wolf who have endured five questionable rejection from her past mates, and suddenly discovering the next in line from the list is Alexandar, the peculiar and infamous lycan king who rules over the werewolf race. She couldn’t believe it at first. She’s gained so many experience not to know when and how to spot a deception. And of course, how to handle the discovery of mates so she wouldn’t be her crying at the end.
To save herself from any possible hurt, she took it upon herself by suggesting to Alexandar to reject her so they would not waste any time, and move on with their lives. It’s a promising solution, really. The problem is, Alexandar isn’t a fan of messing around, and though it may seem not like it, he respects the mating bond as though it’s the most sacred thing a lycan could have. He isn’t please with Lucianne’s decision, and tried to convince her to change her mind.
Impressed by his resistance and intrigued with his real motive for pushing it, Lucianne allowed him. The showcase of attraction became one-sided during the first week of the mating progress. Until Lucianne finally melted, and there were no more doubts that can stop her from trusting Alexandar.

For those who aren’t new in paranormal romance, we all know the main male character is, if not, overly possessive and rough. Alexandar is a little bit of an exception. He’s very compassionate and sympathetic for his role as the king. He viewed his followers as members of the family. However, he’s strict and uptight when it comes to their functionality and behavior. Seeing his kingdom and the rest of his kind act heinous is the least thing he wanted to see.
He’s known for his unmatched strength, and domineering authority among the lycans and the werewolves. He holds massive control over them. Anyone who will come across him is compelled to show respect. As for his appearance, he will tick off every single check boxes of every woman’s dream man.
Lucianne Freesia
In the mind of Alexandar, Lucianne is noble, respectable and humble. Despite the heartbreak and emotional confusion she had gone through under the harsh treatment of her past mates, she did not find any reason to give up her sanity and her position as a gamma. She’s fierce, loyal, and affectionate, always willing to give up her own happiness for the sake of others.
She could lead a pack war and win. Her strength as a Gamma is incomparable, and she’s much strategic than any other normal she-wolf. It’s not a mystery now why Alexandar has been so whipped for her in the first time they met.
She’s not just beautiful, she’s an independent woman with high values, as well.
Part 3: Insights on The 5-time Rejected Gamma and the Lycan King
When I finished reading it, I was at loss for words. I couldn’t formulate any words to describe what I felt but it took a genuine toll on me. I did not expect it to be that averagely good, and satisfyingly brilliant. The plot lived up to its premise, thankfully, and there was not a single moment that I spaced out while reading. No dull scenes. No fillers. And the romance is emotionally pulsating.
Because the time wasn’t a waste, I therefore, put the verdict on this one as a passable, tricky, and extremely good werewolf romance. I recommend this to everyone, either a long time lover of shiter romance or just a newbie in the field.
Like The 5-time Rejected Gamma and the Lycan King, Rejected Luna is also a werewolf romance book about a rejected she-wolf. This time, it’s a luna, and her journey is much rough than Lucianne experienced. It’s from Dreame, and can be read without a sweat.
