One of the most intriguing facts about werewolf stories is their inability to choose whom they fall in love with. They get a fated mate towards they feel an instant attraction, a pull they can’t resist.
And although they are pretty much aware of the twists that the Moon Goddess pulls towards them, the wolves still try to guess or anticipate their future significant other. In Timber Alpha novel, Octavia does the same thing, she hopes that her beau will be her fated. But, as always, life has different plans for the main character.

Part 1: An Overview Of Timber Alpha Story
Octavia, also known as Avi, is a beautiful she-wolf, who is yet to come of age and meet her fated mate. She feels drawn to her childhood friend and her brother’s beta, Rowan and spends every night in his company.
Although they spend so much time together, they refrain themselves from giving into their desires, as Avi doesn’t want to ruin Rowan’s future, in case he meets his true mate. In mere two days, she will be eighteen and finally the mystery will be solved, she will be able to tell whether her friend is her fate or not.
Meanwhile, the pack’s Alpha and Octavia’s brother, Theo, is getting ready for an important Alpha meeting, as all leaders are gathering up to discuss the upcoming carnival, where most unmated wolves are supposed to find their significant others.
This year, the Timber Pack will attend the festivities, something that almost never happens. The Timber Alpha is known for his brutality and vileness, thus no sane she-wolf would ever want to be paired to any werewolf from Timber Pack.
As the carnival coincides with Octavia’s birthday, the girl wakes up in the morning, excited to find her sweetheart Rowan and see if he is her true mate. Unfortunately, he is not her fated lover. As much as she tries to feel the sparks when touching him and enjoy his sweet scent, there is simply no fatal attraction.
Avi can’t hold Rowan back any longer, as he needs to find his mate given by the Moon Goddess. Thus, she decides to hurt his feelings by telling him that she is doesn’t feel any attraction towards him.
Sad she had hurt her friend, Octavia wonders around the carnival when the most enticing coffee scent engulfs her. Echo, her wolf, immediately realized that her mate is somewhere nearby and skimmed the place, looking for the owner of the sweet coffee flavor.
To her surprise, Avi’s mate is none other than the Timber Alpha, Kallan. Despite the rumors of him being cruel and vicious, he looks extremely handsome. Yes, he is massive, and towers over Avi, but his masculinity is alluring.
Octavia tries to flee, afraid of the man, ending up in the comfortable arms of Beta Rowan, who promises to protect her. Seeing his mate in another man’s arms infuriates the Timber Alpha, who threatens to kill Rowan and everyone in the pack who would prevent him from taking Avi with him.
The girl reluctantly agrees to go with Kallan, despite being terrified of him. For the well-being of her pack and brother, she sacrifices herself. Surprisingly, Avi discovers that Timber Alpha has a softer side. Yes, he is merciless, but he is fair, he is brutal, but only to those who wrong him.
Eventually, Octavia gives in to the mate bond, allowing Kallan to prove his love towards her. Their newfound happiness will not last long though, as shadows of the past will resurface. Rowan can’t seem to let go of his love for Avi and he wants her back.
Will Timber Alpha win over his rival? Will Avi return to her first love or remain with her true mate?
Part 2: Hot Chapter From Timber Alpha
Timber Alpha Marie Night has rounded a beautiful werewolf romance novel that shows exactly how love can change one person and how far someone can go in order to please their loved one.
Kallan never showed any signs of empathy or affection towards anyone until Octavia entered his life. For the first time ever, he didn’t fear for his life or his pack, he feared losing his better half.
Timber Alpha Chapter 6
Even before she opened the door, Avi knew who knocked on her door. His minty scent filled her senses as soon as he reached the corridor to her room. Rowan seemed puzzled by Octavia’s gaze, but he still opened his hand where he was holding a muffin for her, a peace offering.
The pack’s Beta felt that Avi and Farrah needed some fresh air, after the news had finally settled in, so he invited the girls for a walk in the garden. Of course, after Avi changed her clothes into something more appropriate.
The carnival didn’t seem to be a safe place anymore now that the Timber Pack was joining them, and, although Avi didn’t want to attend the festivity anymore, she had no choice, as the Alpha’s sister. Plus, she hoped to find her mate there.
As Avi had an impending meeting with Alpha Theo, she headed for his office, where she heard a weird conversation between her parents and her brother regarding her duty in the family, regardless of her being of their own blood or not.
She tries to not think any of it, knowing that Theo and her parents only want what’s best for the pack. She also knows that they would never do anything to endanger her happiness.
Part 3: Timber Alpha Book Review
Taking into account the entire book collection I have read so far, whose plots were placed in the werewolf supernatural world, I have to say that Alpha Timber novel is in the top half. I like both Octavia and Kallan as main characters, as they surely stand out through their unique traits.
Avi is not a defenseless she-wolf, nor is she a demure lady. She’s not afraid of going after what she wants and speak her mind. She’s cautious, yet bold, taking action when necessary.
Alpha Timber is filled with plot twists as Rowan, the seemingly loyal and sweet friend and Beta of the pack shows his true colors and hidden agenda. To be honest, I never expected him to be so vile, I was kind of rooting for him and Avi the first few chapters.
As the story progressed though, I found Alpha Kallan quite alluring. His occasionally aloofness and his softer side give an interesting edge to the character and I had to accept the fact that he completes Octavia in every sense.
Overall, Timber Alpha is a worthy reading, that you should not miss, especially if you are a werewolf romance lover.

Lily is an orphan girl taken by the Alpha and Luna of the Snow Moon Pack as a slave. She was never treated as a member of the pack. Lily suffered abuse and was punished even for things she never did.
Her sole desire was to come of age and find her mate so she can leave the pack. Surprisingly, the Moon Goddess paired her with an Alpha.
Although, any Omega slave would consider herself lucky to be mated to a pack leader, Lily was afraid, as her mate was none other than Alpha Dimitri of the Blood Moon Pack, known for being brutal and cruel.
Dimitri spent his entire life searching for his mate and even came to believe that the Moon Goddess had punished him by not giving him a pair, and when he finally finds Lily, he is adamant in making the girl his Luna.
Lily is headstrong and tests Dimitri’s tolerance constantly. Will he be patient enough to get to know her? Will the she-wolf finally find happiness?
You need to know that this novel also has a sequel, entitled Midnight Wolf, who follows the story of Dimitri and Lily’s twins. When Violet and Garrett come of age and shift for the first time, something happens that makes them drift apart.
