Part 1: The Background Story Of The Princess Slave Novel That You Should Know
True to the novel’s title, The Princess Slave is all about a werewolf princess who becomes a slave to the ruthless Lycan King. Princess Violette used to live with King Arthur, her father, who restricts her freedom by selling her to a Lycan King named King Viktor.
The first chapter of The Princess Slave tells us a story about the first days of Princess Violette becoming a slave in the Lycan King’s manor. This chapter is also the first chapter we see Beatrice, the head maid, in action. Beatrice’s responsibility is to explain to Violette the rules as long as she becomes the Lycan King’s slave.
In general, Violette is not allowed to do things, including speaking, if King Viktor doesn’t allow her to do so. At first, Viktor shows his abusive side by keep on changing rules, completely ignoring Violette’s boundaries, and even almost selling Violette to Richard, another Lycan King, who is a best friend to King Arthur, Violette’s father.
As the story goes on, Viktor starts to feel guilty about making The Princess Slave. Even though he hates Violette just as much as he hates her father, who murdered his family back then when he was still a prince, he knows Violette is an entirely different individual.
Viktor starts to care for Violette by being more lenient about rules. Who knows, though, that hatred can become love in The Princess Slave novel on Dreame?

Violette
Violette used to be the werewolf princess before her father throws her out and sells her as The Princess Slave to the Lycan King Master. Violette works for King Viktor, the ruthless Lycan King who enjoys torturing his slaves, along with other maids in his manor.
Violette, The Princess Slave, may experience abusive relationships here and there. However, such things don’t stop Violette to choose kindness at all times. Soon, she proves to Viktor and everybody else that she is an entirely different individual than her father.
The Kings
The Kings always refer to the most respectful beings in the werewolf-verses, including in The Princess Slave novel. King Viktor is the male MC of The Princess Slave; he was a prince before King Arthur, Violette’s father, murdered all of his family members, held him hostage, and put on a mate curse upon him.
At first, King Viktor is mean and rude towards Violette and even intends to sell her to another Lycan King, Richard, who happens to be King Arthur’s best friend. Later on, he starts to let his guard off when he’s with Violette, and he starts to care for her as an individual.
Beatrice and the Maids
The maids in The Princess Slave refer to she-wolves who serve in the King’s manor and obey his every command. Being a head maid means that Beatrice is in charge to let other slaves know the rules and make sure they abide by the King’s words.
Some of the maids in The Princess Slave are aware of Violette’s status as a former princess. Some of them are also aware that Violette is not just an ordinary werewolf. Still, they maintain some degrees of jealousy toward her.
