In Renegade Immortal Wang Lin AKA Tie Zhu was the son of a not-so-accomplished son of the Wang family. The Wang family was popular in the town and could be described as a wealthy and influential family that dealt mainly with carpentry.

Wang Lin’s uncle arrived at Wang Lin’s family house and informed his elder brother, Wang Lin’s father about the Heng Yue Sect. He told them that the Heng Yue Sect was accepting disciples at this time and that he wanted Wang Lin to take his son’s place. The Heng Yue Sect had opened up three slots for the Wang family, and one of the slots fell on the fourth brother of the Wang family.
Apparently, the fourth son of the Wang family was given a slot over Wang Lin’s father who was the second son of the Wang family because he had accomplished more than his elder brother.
However, for reasons that the fourth son of the Wang family stated in Renegade Immortal Book, he wanted Wang Lin to take his son’s place in the slot for being a disciple of the Heng Yue Sect. Wang Lin’s father could not believe his ears.
All his life, he had disciplined and encouraged Wang Lin to be diligent so as to accomplish so much so that Wang Lin would not end up being disrespected the way he was, and while he thought acing the district exam was the most that Wang Lin could achieve at this time, he received the news that the Heng Yue Sect was serving a befitting opportunity.
As would any family during that time, the big news that the fourth son of the Wang family brought, called for celebration. During this time, envy and jealousy arose in the hearts of several people, including one son of the Wang family who was supposedly the most accomplished. He and his proud and disrespectful son put it to Wang Lin that he would not make it into the sect during the test and try-out phase. Of course, it fell on deaf ears, as the more the envious father and son tried to discourage Wang Lin, the more determined he became, and at the end of the day, he became A Renegade Immortal.
When the day came for Wang Lin to leave home to join his uncle who would hand him over to a sect disciple, it was an emotional rollercoaster in Wang Lin’s house.
Of course, his parents were glad to let him go to attend such a prestigious sect but Wang Lin had never left home so they would miss him so much and vice versa. On the day of the arrival of the immortal from the Heng Yue Sect, Wang Lin was ready alongside two of his cousins and together, they were transported to the sect via magic.
On getting to the sect, it was time for the test to see who was qualified and who wasn’t. There were about forty-five young people waiting to join the sect. Unfortunately, Wang Lin didn’t pass the first test, and he had to face the peering and disdainful eyes and mood of his arrogant cousin, but there was a second test.

Part 2: Hot Chapters of Renegade Immortal
Chapters 1-3
The first three chapters of the Renegade Immortal book describe how Wang Lin made it to the Heng Yue Sect. In the beginning, his father coaxed him to get as ready as he could for the coming district exam, but he didn’t know that an even bigger opportunity and responsibility was coming.
The fourth brother of the Wang family arrives at Wang Lin’s house and informs Wang Lin’s parents that Wang Lin would be going for a trial to join the Heng Yue Sect as a disciple.
This sort of news brought joy to Wang Lin’s parents who had never dreamed of the possibility of their son becoming a disciple of such a prestigious sect. Celebrations kicked off immediately, and the entire village attended, supposedly being happy for Wang Lin, even though there were a few envious ones including Wang Lin’s other uncle and cousin.
Wang Lin eventually left for the Heng Yue Sect and started his journey to becoming a Renegade Immortal. He was faced with failures and challenges at first, but none of that was enough to stop the determined Wang Lin from becoming Renegade Immortal.
