Part 1: Main Story of A Beauty With Multiple Masks
Arielle Moore knows she is a survivor. Ending up all alone on a deserted island after the people who were supposed to take her back home tried to kill her, Arielle doesn’t quit so easily.
She knows she will find a way to get to the Southalls. Now that she found them after ten years of search, she has to return to them and learn about the real reasons behind her mother’s tragic death and her own kidnapping.
It’s been seven days since she defeated her assaulters and sank their ship. So far, here, on the uninhabited island, she managed to build herself a simple wooden boat. All she needs now are the oars and she can venture onto the sea, looking for civilization.
Searching for wood, Arielle finds a man laying by the rocks. From the looks of it, the man is unconscious and wounded. She drags the handsome man into her cave and starts a fire to warm him up and tend to his wounds. Just as she is about to put herbs on his injuries, the beautiful man wakes up and tries to stop her.
Although they both need each other, the man and the woman treat each other rudely, but Arielle doesn’t give up and takes good care of the man throughout the night, warming his body with her own. To her surprise, in the morning, a helicopter arrives to rescue the god-like guy.
He is thankful for Arielle saving his life and grants her a wish, thus he takes her home to her family. Coincidentally, this day is also her half-sister’s birthday. Shandie is a shallow, self-absorbed girl who believes that she deserves everything and that a Nightshire helicopter bringing Vinson Nightshare will come to her party, even though he wasn’t invited.
Shandie, in her arrogance, believes the man would come and propose for her birthday, although they had never talked once in their lifetime.
The Nightshirt helicopter indeed comes and lands right in the middle of the party. But, to Shandie’s and her mother’s surprise, Arielle descends from the helicopter. After a few seconds of astonishment, Cindy recovers and hugs Arielle, welcoming her home. Deep down dough, she is boiling with anger for Arielle escaping her kidnappers.
On the one hand, Cindy, Arielle, and Henrick pretend to be happy to have Arielle home and the girl on the other hand pretends she knows nothing about her family’s involvement with her alienation and kidnapping.
Things get more complicated when Cindy learns that Vinson brought Arielle home and granted her a wish for saving his life. Arielle only joked about them getting married, but Vinson is true to his promise.

Part 2: A Short Glimpse into A Beauty With Multiple Masks
Is there anything worse in life than being betrayed by blood? A father is supposed to protect his daughter, a cousin is supposed to love as a sister and an aunt should be like a mother, but for Arielle these things were just the opposite.
Henrick, Cindy, and Shandie treated her like the enemy, keeping her close for the sole purpose of gaining benefits and chasing her away when Arielle’s lack of presence is more convenient.
As expected, Arielle would have never had the courage to face her ‘loving’ family after all those years, lest she was sure that they couldn’t harm her anymore. She always seems to foreknow Cindy’s, Shandie’s, and even Henrick’s intentions, before they even make a move and turn all odds in her favor, all the while finding true happiness in the arms of Vinson.

A Beauty with Multiple Masks Chapter 10
As the snake glared back and hissed at the housekeepers, everyone stumbled back. Henrick and Cindy quickly came to Shandie’s room and ordered the maids to kill that beast right away. No one dared though, the snake looked dangerous and venomous.
When Janet finally came, she was paralyzed with fear realizing the cobra was in Shandie’s room when she knows for sure she put that awful snake in Arielle’s bedroom. If the serpent bit the girl, she could die in less than an hour.
Henrick, as the man of the house, had no choice but to take matters in his own hands, even though he was terrified. As he gathered the courage to enter the room and face the cobra, Arielle showed up pleading with her father to not enter her sister’s room. An enraged Cindy slaps Arielle for wanting her daughter dead.
Arielle confesses she fears for her father’s life and fights the snake herself, killing it by cutting its head with a knife. Impressed with his daughter’s care towards him, Henrick punishes his wife and afterward takes Shandie to the hospital.
Part 3: A Beauty With Multiple Masks Book Review
I have to give a big thumbs up to the author, as I haven’t read such an intricate, intriguing, well-developed plot in a while. I love Arielle and her wits, I love the fact that she is a know-it-all, which gives her great insight into things and opportunities to get away from difficult, even life-threatening situations.
Although I may have hoped at some point that things would take a turn for the best with Henrick and Arielle and finally he would decide to be a better father, I came to terms with the fact that sometimes is better off alone than with evil company, no matter if we’re talking about your own flesh and blood.
One constant thing throughout Arielle’s journey that I admired and rooted for was Vinson. He can be this bitchy, arrogant, a little self-centered billionaire, but, in his own way, he is always there for Arielle. Their relationship is juicy and easy on the eye, it was definitely one of the things I eagerly hoped to read about in every chapter.
