The Tyrant’s Tranquilizer translated and illustrated is a reincarnation fantasy romance book about Lee Soo-Yeon who after slandering her favorite novel is punished by being transformed into the side character who would be killed by the villain for the heroine’s character development.

The manga has the following tags: fantasy, historical, isekai, romance, and humor. It has over sixty chapters.

Lee Soo-Yeon in her spare time from the busy world invested her resources and time in her favorite novel, sparing no expense so she could reach the epic finale of the book. But when things did not go her way, she made a drastic mistake that landed her in trouble, one that can’t be easily reversed.

The novel was about Renee Delaheim, the daughter of a count, whose sister was a concubine to the emperor. However, after an unexpected issue, the ruthless emperor murdered her sister and her entire family, leaving her alone to survive in this cold world.

Because of his wickedness, Renee swore to avenge her family and defeat the emperor using her special swordsmanship.

On her path for revenge, Renee eventually became the head of a rebel force that fought to usurp the tyrant emperor. But when at last it would seem that Renee would be victorious after she hunted down the emperor and defeated him, something strange happened.

Following his death, his blood cursed the lands leading to catastrophic events that could as well be classified as the end of the world. For Lee Soo-Yeon who had been invested in the novel, this was a terrible ending to her.

It didn’t sit well with her that the heroine did not have her victory, so she slandered the book and even went to bed angry.

As a punishment for her harsh remarks, Lee Soo-Yeon woke up, reborn in her favorite novel’s world as Amelie Bourbon, the heroine’s sister; a side character that would be brutally murdered by the tyrant emperor to help build the heroine’s character development.

In the novel, Amelie had magic, and so Lee Soo-Yeon, afraid of dying, decided to develop her skills and run away before the events of the novel started. Little did she know that were twists to this story now. For more books like this, check

Chapter 41

The Tyrant's Tranquilizer Emperor's ball

After she had been reborn in the world of her favorite novel, it didn’t take Lee Soo-Yeon time to notice that there were new twists to this story that wasn’t in the original book, and that was why it was possible for her to be together with Serwin Henesia.

It still shocked her to know that a villain emperor who was infamous for his tyranny now had a soft spot for her.

He manifested this when they hosted a ball. Amelie had been betrayed by her trusted friends Lady Lenia and Charlotte who ruined her dress so they could disgrace her but their plans were uncovered after Amelie saved herself with magic.

Because of this, Serwin Henesia decided to personally punish the culprits for trying to mess with his partner.

Chapter 15

After she was discovered by the emperor for what she was, Amelie has whisked away from her parent’s house and meant to follow the emperor who had a weird interest in her that wasn’t originally present in the novel. On their journey to his castle, Amelie eventually made her powers as a witch public.

She had done this after she treated an injured soldier and then followed it up by giving him a potion that healed his wounds entirely and left no scars. This left the emperor’s camp in awe.

However, this did not sit well with Serwin Henesia and he made sure to make the soldier who had dared gone close to his Amelia know it. Had his right-hand man not interfered, he could’ve killed the soldier.
