Part 1: Sneak Peek At The Plot of Prestigious Family Marriage: Uncle VS Young Wife
The story opens with the drunk main protagonist—Ye Qing Xin, stuck in the middle of a prosperous formal dinner with her uncle and a bunch of old men known in the business world, pressured and teased to entertain one of them like a disgraceful courtesan.
Her desire to get out of there was so high, not even the slightest hesitation affected her decision when she rejected the old man’s advancements with unconcealed indignation. Tai Zheng Ting—her uncle—was shocked to hear such defiance, and demanded to take it back.
Ye Qing Xin has no plans to please him this time, but protesting verbally isn’t enough to protect herself against a group of perverted men. What can she do, then? Hurt them? Physically defend herself? Impossible.
Not with her uncle’s disapproving glare. Just as desperation sinks in, a man of such great importance stepped in. The male protagonist is then introduced. His name is Jing Bo Yuan, holding a position higher than any of the men there. This is why with just a sentence, the commotion ended, and Ye Qing Xin break free of the dilemma.
It’s important to note that within that dinner, several essential points have been revealed. Such as the nature of Ye Qing Xin’s relationship with her uncle which is very odd and unhealthy, as well as the fact that Ye Qing Xin’s freedom is imprisoned by the favors she owed to her uncle.
But the most notable one worth attention to is the establishment of interest between Jing Bo Yuan and Ye Qing Xin. Both of them clearly piqued one another’s attention, and that small interaction instantly geared up the course of the plot.
Following that incident, Jing Bo Yuan and Ye Qing Xin’s paths repeatedly crossed, one after another, and so on. Their ‘accidental’ meet-ups resulted in the development of their feelings. Jing Bo Yuan became highly intoxicated by Ye Qing Xin’s attention and love.
While the latter, found shelter in his arms where compassion isn’t elusive and the freedom to do anything her mind wish isn’t limited.
Their differences and inadequacies are what made them a perfect match. Ye Qing Xin needs a place where she doesn’t feel threatened, where she’s free to be herself, and where love is the common ground. Jing Bo Yuan didn’t fail to provide that. In return, Ye Qing Xin showered with love, respect, and devotion, the things that his past lovers failed to provide and what he’s been searching for the whole time.
While their love continued to prosper, the antagonists of Ye Qing Xin’s life double their efforts to ruin them apart and make Ye Qing Xin realize she doesn’t deserve a such peaceful life. Many times they did almost succeed but Jing Bo Yuan is too keen to let them touch Ye Qing Xin.
But as promising as their love seem, hardship and obstacles still continued to rain on them.
Especially right after they got married, and attempted to build a complete family. The trials has been so lethal, Ye Qing Xin suffered miscarriages numerous times, and their marriage almost broke, as well. Despite that, love still prevailed in the end, and they were rewarded with the most satisfying conclusion.

Part 2: Main Settings And Moral Lessons of Prestigious Family Marriage: Uncle VS Young Wife
The usual locations embedded in the scenes are, if not in lavish mansions, in the cozy corners of the fictional high-end companies, restaurants, and public places that are too fantastical for their purposes. Its minimalistic and simple background created the light yet ominous atmosphere that can be found in every chapter.
The narrator didn’t pay to spare them detailed descriptions as doing so might rattle the attention of the readers on the characters. It’s not a story the settings matter and will affect the plot because the focus is fixated on the character’s struggles and journey to self-learning.
Mentioning that the obvious theme of the story is about forgiveness, self-love, and redemption, which is of course why it was so long and why the author decided to extend the timeline of the story, reaching up to approximately fifteen years of the characters’ relationship.
It’s an effective tool to display the important lessons that we must gain from it. Such as the power of genuine love, self-importance, the rules of karma, and how can we control the denied realities of our world.
Part 3: Evaluation On Prestigious Family Marriage: Uncle VS Young Wife And A Similar Book
Personally, I really, really liked this book. The premise and the plot were overall promising, and engaging. Hats off to the author’s adaptive imagination, it didn’t fail to provide that grip that I felt while reading the first set of chapters, and it held onto me until the very last end.
The romance wasn’t rapid and was established well by the character’s own choice. Didn’t feel like the plot was rushed. The group of scenes, and the timeline suited the storyline so well, the transitions will be hard to notice. And of course, how could I forget the characters?
The principal characters weren’t disappointing. They were crafted suitably to the story’s theme—acting, and thinking based on the personalities and backgrounds granted to them. However, as much as I want to fill up this review with praises, and give it an A+, I can’t overlook the mishap that the author did at the beginning of its ending.
The main character’s retribution towards the antagonist after the miscarriages didn’t sit well to me. The author could have thought of a much more suitable solution but for the sake of keeping the readers engaged, it settled for a far worse conclusion—repeated sexual abuse on the antagonist, and making them suffer an inhuman fate.
For that, I’d give it a well-thought 4 stars.
If you’re sensitive and can easily be triggered by such controversial topics mentioned above, this is not highly recommended. But if you have a tough mind that can withstand such subjects, don’t hesitate to give it a chance.
