About My Ex-Boyfriends Fell In Love With Me that You Must Know

Imagine a scenario where money is scarce in your household. One day, your parents brought two of your old favorite shoes and asked for your advice. You haven’t used them for so long, and your parents decided to make money from them. Both are exceedingly good, and both hold a special place in your heart.
One must only remain. Note that it’s not feasible to keep them altogether nor beg your momma that you won’t choose because money is much more important than what you feel.
You’re having a hard time making up your mind because both seemed to be pleasant to keep. Your experience with them is the only thing that differs. It’s sweet to reminisce but time is running out and you have to come up with a decision quickly as possible.

Which will be spared and which will be discarded? Will it be the one that gave you the sweetest experience but is so fragile, it’ll only take one kick at the wall and it would turn into dust, or the other that is the reminder of all the awful things in your life, and yet appears it can strive for another long year?

This kind of head-aching conflict is the exact structure of the My Ex-Boyfriends Fell In Love With Me. I know, I know. It sounds ridiculous to use such an analogy to describe it, but it’s the simplest one that can illustrate it completely.

That conflict alone tells so much about the story and covers so many important parts that it would be ridiculous not to guess the ending. Your young version embodies the female character, and the shoes are the male characters that will go crazy over her attention and love.

My Ex-Boyfriends Fell In Love With Me- Hana and Chajun

Wait, you might think, how is that even possible? How will the story even reach its conclusion if the female lead keeps bouncing around and won’t stop being indecisive? Is it really worth my time? Well, I can’t really give you the right answers because that will spoil the fun, won’t it? It’s best to leave it to your judgment. But I can very well assure you that it’s more than worth your time, and it will exceed every expectation you have, and will even trample some stereotypes about the love triangle trope.

Of course, the steamy and ideal romance between the three shouldn’t only be the one you should watch for. It also tackles some issues in our society and teaches moral lessons that can widen our empathy and a general understanding of our world.

The development of each character throughout the novel is also worthy of note because it made the story extra impactful and with so much sense. I don’t doubt that you’ll love it as much as millions of people did. And many still do today.

Part 1: Plot Overview of My Ex-Boyfriends Fell In Love With Me

So the story kicks off when Hana Bom was sent as a representative to propose a life-saving project for the leading furniture company in the city. As the general manager, and the daughter of the owner, it is, of course, expected she’d seal the deal and come home with the victory.

She doesn’t doubt it wouldn’t happen. Her determination is enough teller of the future. Because if by chance, she failed, their company would go downhill, and will probably disappear from the industry just weeks after.

Dressed up with courage, and armed with insights, she strolled inside Woodrail, thinking everything will go in her favor and luck would be by her side.

She realizes fate cannot be manipulated when it’s revealed the director of the company is her first-ever ex and the man she hasn’t quite gotten over yet. His name is Sunwoo Chajun, her very own case of the one that got away.

They met when she was 19, and the love they shared is both bittersweet and enchanting. He’s the one who opened up her eyes about love and made her feel things that no man could ever replace. If only he didn’t leave her, Hana is sure as hell they’d be married now.

Chajun is the perfect epitome of what every girl wants to be the man they’d be serving in the future. He’s dreamy, kindhearted, and committed. Honestly, what else could Hana ask for from him?

He’s her first of everything. First love, and the first heartbreak. Seeing him in front felt like a dream. Then, just as she prolongs the memories they shared, the regrets of not making it official with him, her other ex came in at the office.

Now this one is Chajun’s antagonistic version. His name is Theo Dan—the team leader of the project she’s been aiming to get, and the worst ex she ever got the chance to meet!

Unlike to her relationship with Chajun, their companionship only lasted for weeks. And within that timeframe, all she received were awful memories and experiences.

Not that Theo is abusive, or a bad boyfriend, but their differences can’t just correlate with each other. Misunderstanding became their all-time favorite bonding. Hana Bom couldn’t keep up with Theo’s rowdiness, she ended it without mercy.

Because of their history, Hana isn’t at all surprised Theo is mad at her. He proves that to be right when he sneers at her after Chajun made introductions for them both. Hana is quite guilty, and that feeling never wears off when she starts her presentation.

Thankfully, the project has been approved, and Hana is set to work with it, along with both of her godly handsome exes.

From then on, Hana’s life has never been the same. Chajun is trying to reunite their old love by treating her like a princess.

Meanwhile, Theo is determined to patch up their feud in the past. And although Hana considers it to be hypocritical to admit, she’s liking both of their attention. The pour of love and affection is overwhelming, she almost wished for it not to stop.

However, it’s not possible to keep the two of them at once. Whether she likes it or not, one must only be picked. It’s the inevitable end that she must face head-on.

A series of jealousy, chasing, and revelations followed up, and Hana is stuck between doing what’s right and what her heart screams. It’s either hurt herself or hurt them both.

This is where the phrase ‘may the best man win’ will come along as both of the male characters are determined to win the heart of Hana Bom, and make her fall in love.

And A Similar Book Recommend

Though the concept of having two male protagonists in the same story has been overused by so many, I still kept my expectations high before I read this. And it didn’t fail to meet every single one.

Everything about it is remarkable. The central conflict sustains the plot so well, I thought I was reading a classic masterpiece.

And don’t even get me started about the characters because oh boy, all of them did their roles so well! None had been a pain in the ass. They all have their mind, like real living persons, and act according to what they think is right.

This is, no doubt, a must-read book for romance fanatics. It’s addicting, highly enjoyable, and full of necessary topics. It’d be a total shame to waste this chance.

If I enjoyed it, so should you!
