The story tells of Alex, a man who died and was taken up from limbo by a god in order to revive the world. The god had seen his world fail to entertain him and he brought Alex to fix this problem of his. However, how far can Alex get? He leaves the world he has known all his life and is brought before such a fate. What will he do? Can he take up this new life and bring about the result that god wanted?
“Sword God in a World of Magic” is a tale that emphasizes the complete self-destruction that is inevitable when there are little to no innovative minds in a certain place. Alex is practically a tool at the hands of that god. Or maybe a new toy if you prefer. It has always been a puzzle how a god is able to see life as a source of entertainment. Of course, gods are masters of humans and that makes it easier to accept the sort of game they play with their worshippers. But this god is on another level. He literally plucked a tutor from another realm just to teach his kids not to be simple-minded fools and buggers.
Alex is the protagonist that isn’t supposed to need his brain to get where he wants to, however when he does, it is always something amazing that makes it out of his mouth. It couldn’t be half bad to live in a world where power was everywhere and ripe for the taking. We hope he succeeds and doesn’t end up in a mess with the troublesome God.

Part 1: Plot Summary of Sword God in a World of Magic
The story follows Alex who, due to circumstances, is working at a grocery store in order to save enough money for college. The circumstances that landed him, a twenty-two-year-old, in this situation were simply the path he had chosen at a young age. He had been left with an injury that ended his dreams and career. By the time he picked himself up, a lot was lost but it was not too late.
Alex was once again hindered from fulfilling his goal. This happened when he was about to be robbed and amid overpowering his attacker, the latter died and his friend who was hidden in a corner, killed Alex in return. Alex had only just left his body and entered an unknown place, but then he got taken from the road to his afterlife. Alex was taken by a god, and the god had a request that Alex couldn’t help but feel impossible to achieve. He was a single man, but god had faith that Alex was exactly what the world needed.
Alex, with this nearly impossible mission, embarks on a path that he had never thought he would walk on, in a world he never thought he would be in. A world of magic and his sole purpose was to stick out like a sore thumb and inspire the catalyst of change that would inspire a people who had only known one kind of power all their life.
These people were comfortable with the magic that they had, wouldn’t it be the most difficult thing to convince them of a better path?
Part 2: Main Character of Sword God in a World of Magic
Alex (Shang)
He is a man who loved sports from a young age. It’s quite normal for a child to love sports so much that they forget to study. Alex was exactly that child. He fell into the Mixed Martial Arts scene, and after a long road full of trials and failures, he finally won. He emerged and succeeded, but it was cut short when he was injured in his ankle. It left him unable to walk properly with that leg. He had to rely on a cane. Alex decided to go back to the studies that he had neglected for the sake of his dreams. Luckily, he was still young and could make something of himself yet.
However, things don’t go the way we plan sometimes. Alex is killed suddenly and everything about his old life turned meaningless. Was it the dreams, the failure, and misfortune, the injury, or his family’s worry? All was unimportant in the face of death. Alex however did not have it end there. He got another chance at life but in a different realm. This time, he had every intention of grabbing the power that he had been told of by the god.
Alex must now train and fight. Fortify and protect this new body. Make something grand of his life in this new world. He would be a sword god; unable to practice magic with this body of his, Alex went for the best thing, and it was right up his alley.
Part 3: Awesome Chapter from Sword God in a World of Magic
Chapter Three
Alex woke up confused about his whereabouts. He was in a really spacious hall with a bad wall painting. He also noticed the throne that was in the same room, as well as the person who sat on it. A young man looked at Alex with a smirk. They stared at each other, neither one initiating a conversation. Alex analyzed the person who smirked at him for a while. Then he decided to initiate the conversation. He started politely but was thrown by a force and barely caught himself with his hands. He noticed that he didn’t have his cane.
After checking, he was shocked that he could walk. However, it wasn’t long before he lost his excitement and concluded that it was a dream. It was then another force that threw him away. Alex heard the voice of the man on the throne and was astounded, he also realized that the male was the one forcefully throwing him around.
The male angrily complained, and Alex once again concluded that it was a dream. It only made the other person more pissed off. Alex didn’t shy away as he repeated himself with his mouth and not his thoughts. The male did a few tricks with the throne but when that wasn’t enough, he cut off Alex’s foot and reattached it. The pain was enough to convince Alex that he wasn’t dreaming. The young man kicked Alex continuously as he indicated that it was his realm. He moved to kick Alex once more, but Alex dodged and responded with a punch.
