Admit it or not the werewolf trope will never die. In spite of all the other supernatural creatures, nothing beats the shapeshifting effect that the werewolves do. I was about to feature a masterpiece romance that would satisfy your fantasy. Whether you are busy or not, for sure you will not let this book pass.
The Red Wolf’s Mate was a certified paranormal read that would captivate you to the fullest. Honestly, due to its short chapters, I was able to finish it in three days. Yes, you just read it right. A heart-rending work of fiction that took my imagination to another level. Not to mention the swoon-worthy scenes the main characters had in the succeeding pages.
Based on my observation, this story was purposely written for older teens to young adults. Knowing that the female lead was about to reach her legal age and still did not get a boyfriend in the first part of the novel. There was a lot to discover in her life which obviously the teenage readers could relate to.
Although it was my first time having a novel written by this author, I instantly became a fan. The storytelling and the narratives were both impressive. A YA fantasy that you would never go wrong with, whether it’s a recommendation or just blind buying. For sure, I will not think twice about reading the second book of this series. Really rooting for the sequel!

Part 1: Sensual Characters and Highpoints of The Red Wolf’s Mate
Raina happened to be an orphan who lost her family in a rogue attack. She was left all alone and had to put her life back on track, living with a new pack. Reaching her goals was her daily motivation and as a senior high school student, she always made sure that she was doing well in her studies.
But as she was about to go to her desk and study for her lessons, the picture of her family stopped her. It only gave her nostalgia, some painful memories which kept on coming back in her mind.
She tried her best to block those moments when their pack territory was devastated in a war. Many lives were sacrificed, and one of them was her family’s. It was then that she and her wolf, Lela were the only ones left in the attack.
Although she was orphaned, she still had her mom’s best friend, Anne, and her daughter, Lizzie, living with her. From then on, Raina considered them as her family. It had been two months since she moved into their house where she was warmly welcomed.
Knowing that she was going to a school for human beings, she still had not enough werewolf companions from the new pack she was in. So, Lizzie asked her to join the bonfire to mingle around and gain new friends. Now that she was in the River Moon Pack, she had to start a fresh beginning. However, it was something she wanted to avoid.
Even though it was uncomfortable for her, she had to do it. Raina came from a family of rogues and with all the bitterness in the past, she could not afford to stay like that for the rest of her life. Lizzie was fascinated every time she talked about the Alpha of their pack, Callan. Yet, she still did not meet him in person, causing a sense of curiosity in her mind.

Part 2: Sink Your Claws Into The Red Wolf’s Mate
As the Red Wolf’s Mate novel became exciting, Lizzie finally persuaded Raina to attend the bonfire ceremony. Due to the redness of her hair, she did not want to cause confusion to other pack members.
Raina had to be introduced, knowing that the uniqueness of her coat caused conflict in her previous pack. Before she could not shift unless she was isolated, and a lot of male wolves would show interest in her which she found so irritating.
Lela was expecting that she would finally meet her mate that very night. But Raina was about to reach eighteen in a few weeks, she still had to wait for that time to come. Hence, she was just looking forward to companionship. Then, she was invited by Alpha Callan, and as soon as he came back from the mission, the two crossed paths.
There was a tender attraction between them as he was intoxicated by her scent. Their relationship blossomed in the latter part of the story, which was kind of hot. Raina’s mysterious identity as a red wolf also unfurled. She was able to reach her deepest potential and achieve more than being a rogue.
Part 3: Reignite The Spark | The Red Wolf’s Mate
Of course, as I was expecting, Raina became a Luna and had pups with Alpha Callan. The fate that brought them together was like a tranquil flow of a water spring. Indeed, The Red Wolf’s Mate novel was a compelling slow-burn romance.
Given the fact that the chapters were modernized, it was not boring to read. Plus, it was a quick read that gave you the interest to crave more.
