Alice Anderson
Alice Anderson is the main protagonist of His Reluctant Luna. At twenty-four, she is the youngest employee of Barton and Tom, arguably the biggest construction firm in London. She belongs to one of the most powerful packs in North America: The Jade moon pack.
Of which her brother Rick Anderson is the alpha. He is seven years older than her. He took over at the age of seventeen after their father was murdered by rogues and rival packs.
In terms of appearance, Alice has an average height, roughly 5’4, but a slim body, dark hair, and hazel eyes. And her wolf is called Lana. She also has a fiance, Mark who happens to be the heir of the company she works in. Although it’s unprofessional, they’ve been together for two years.

Lucian is the alpha is Alice’s mate. In physical appearance, he has brown hair and green eyes. He’s tall with a warrior’s body cut from years of training. All in all, he is handsome with a perfect jawline.
Unlike Alice who has been running away to avoid finding her mate, Lucian has been in search of his mate for over ten years.

Chapter Two
Life had been a little boring for Alice following her fiance’s travel, but she preferred it to go back home. However, once he’d returned she’d rushed to the airport to claim Mark, the handsome six feet tall bachelor with blue eyes that was her fiance.
She was proud of him that one day inherit the company from his father who was a lord.
Picking him up from the airport, Mark had been swift to book an appointment for them on Saturday. On the said day, he took Alice on a field trip and then stopped by a beautifully decorated gazebo where he proposed to her.
Alice wanted to reject this, but Mark was so earnest that she couldn’t and so she accepted to marry him even though her wolf vehemently disagreed. She could tolerate having sex with him, but not marriage.
Chapter Three
Reporting back to her friends and her aunt that she was engaged, all that Alice got were nods of disapproval. Not that they disliked Marked because he was human, he just wasn’t Alice’s mate. However, they couldn’t do anything about it because Alice was a grown woman, and had the final say in her life’s choice.
As it was nearing winter, Alice flew back to her pack in Florida as she always did. Getting back home made Alice feel somewhat grateful that she was from her pack, the jade moon, and not from other packs that were rigid and rarely allowed their members to live far away.
As soon as she landed and rested, her friend Emma quickly took her shopping so they could get something nice to wear for a house party.
Left alone, Alice would not want to go to such an event, but her friend Emma was rather persuasive. As they went to the party, things turned sour for Alice as she bumped into someone she realized was her mate.
Chapter Four
Walking near a pool Lucian her mate accidentally bumped into her and they both collided into the pool. Immediately they felt intense signals that made Alice realize they were mates.
Lucian even knew this before her because he could already sense her, perceive her scent before he even saw her, and then accidentally bumped into her when he wanted to approach her.
Alice who could barely stop herself from pouncing on him and letting him devour her in the most primal way, suddenly took to her heels because she didn’t want a mate. Of course, this pissed her wolf Lana, but it couldn’t do anything because Alice was in control.
