Natalie deserves to be paired up with such a strong character and become such a powerful leading lady, as the people who have wronged her, in this case, her own sister and boyfriend, will regret their decisions.

Part 1: The Beast And The Blessed Storyline

The feeling of gratitude is indeed powerful. No matter how ruthless, cruel, and murderous King Killian may be, the fact that he saved Natalie from her pack and accepted her just the way she is seems enough for her.
I wasn’t expecting Natalie to accept Alpha Killian so quickly and so easily though, especially since, only one day before, she was Jake’s girlfriend and loved him so much. I like that she had the strength to leave everything behind, knowing that life around Jake and his new Luna, the annoying Haylee will only torment her.

Natalie felt happy and scared at the same time. She gathered food, clothes and some money in her bag getting ready to flee from the pack. She knew that the Lycans arrived because, even without having a wolf, she could feel their mighty power.
The girl threw the bag over her shoulder and calculated her route, ready to leave. She had the perfect plan, so she was set to go. Running through the woods, she kept praying for the border to get closer and closer, but before she could catch sight of it, a large shadow flashed to her right.
Soon, the other two figures appeared to her left. Without a doubt, she was being followed. Lycans were after she, and Natalie knew there was no escape from them. Death was in the cards for her now.
One of the female Lycans urged her to stop. Natalie stood still for a moment but then decided to run again, although she knew she didn’t stand a chance with those huge wolves. As expected, she was soon caught and brought back to the Offering.
For a moment, the girl believed that the Lycans brought her back in order to be punished for disrespecting Haylee, but soon Natalie realized that the Lycan King himself wanted her as his mate. His powerful aura demanded her submission and she did so.
Surprised and repulsed by the idea of Natalie being Killian’s mate, Savannah glared at the king, asking him with a voice filled with disdain if he really wanted a human.
Without thinking twice, Alpha Killian killed Savannah on the spot for disrespecting his mate. The next thing he did was to grab Natalie and her backpack and softly whisper in a deep voice that she was his.
