The story tells of Charlotte, her life is turned upside down because of a contract that she had no part in agreeing to. Charlotte must marry Sebastian or face consequences. On the surface, he played nice and got everyone on his side. Only Charlotte knew there was a devil behind the mask he wore. She must now handle this devil and hopefully survive his spite. He already told her that he would make her regret it. When everything comes out in the open, it could very well be the other way around.

“My Marriage Is A Contract” is a tale of unfairness. Though, what kind of psycho signs his daughter away at birth? Nobody knows what will become of a person in the future. Yet, this brand of fools that call themselves fathers, had no problem giving up their children towards an uncertain future. No doubt, money played a part in the crazy decision.

We can only hope it works out, that those two do not end up killing each other after everything. The sense of fulfillment is sort of present too, but it is hardly predominant because neither party is really into it. But of course, this is only an initial reaction. I always feel a certain type of way about arranged marriages. I loathe them completely for how they rob a person of their free will. That is the one thing that makes us human beings. If you take it away from your kid, what hope is there for humanity?

Love should not be forced, but at this point, we can only wish our two favorite characters a wonderful life.

Part 1: Plot Summary of My Marriage Is A Contract

My Marriage Is A Contract Handsome Sebastian

The story follows Charlotte as she is informed of the contract that her father made with his best friend. The contract specified that she was to marry the son of the best friend, otherwise, she would lose her inheritance and would likely be kicked out of the family. Charlotte has a hard time accepting this. But she is ultimately given no choice in the matter when her mother practically acted for her and without her consent. Honestly, the frustration was palpable as I read up to this point. Who are these people that could rob her of her right to choose? It turned out that the man that Charlotte was to marry was the same unreasonable man whose car she had crashed into just recently.

Sebastian Gerano hated Charlotte Brooks, but it was on behalf of his secret lover. The woman was Charlotte’s archenemy. She wanted Charlotte to pay, but what was she supposed to pay for? Being more beautiful? Charting at the top rank of the Models list every time? Or is it being a better person overall? This type of enemy is so brain dead, it is practically a waste of time to bother with them. Sebastian was easy to pull into this brainless crew of haters, however.

The male is as shallow and vindictive as they come. He plans to make Charlotte’s life a living hell, all for the two-faced woman he was enthralled with.

Part 2: Main Character of My Marriage Is A Contract

Charlotte Brooks

My Marriage Is A Contract Charlotte

She is a young and successful woman in her career. She is also the daughter of the Brooks family, a major player in the business leagues. Charlotte is a kind and easy-going person. She doesn’t have a calculative personality, and neither does she have much in the way of greed. All these traits show as you read about her encounters throughout the course of the book. Charlotte is just a simple girl with simple thoughts. She didn’t want the reality that they were forcing her o accept. But she couldn’t get out of this problematic situation.

Charlotte almost seems like a weak character as the tale begins. She is pushed left and goes left. She is thrown right, and she doesn’t resist. But the thing is, there’s no way to predict how a person would react after stomaching the pain and foolishness of another. Charlotte was a nice and sweet girl. But she had one problem: her temper. Push Charlotte just the right amount and she would snap so hard, everyone who knew her knew this to be a fact. Which is why the woman hardly ever got angry.

With her life suddenly veering off in another direction than she expected, Charlotte must now navigate her way to a satisfying reality that she would not regret. Can she win against this man who had a hidden agenda for her? Or will she succumb to his charms? When she finally finds out the reason why he did all those things to make her suffer, what will be her response?

Part 3: Amazing Chapter from My Marriage Is A Contract

My Marriage Is A Contract Sebastian and Charlotte

Chapter Five

Charlotte’s face turned pale in horror as she confirmed that the unreasonable man she had come across earlier, was Sebastian Gerano. The man whose car she had crashed into, was the same man that she was supposed to marry. Charlotte felt afraid of what he might do to her. After all, she had challenged him to do his worst. He had threatened to make her pay for what she did to him, now he was the one her marriage had been arranged with. Sebastian finally spoke, but with an expressionless face. However, Charlotte could tell he was mocking her. He even threw her words from earlier, back in her face.

Alexander Gerano called his son and Charlotte to the stage. Charlotte was unable to extricate herself from Sebastian’s grip, therefore she had no choice but to follow. Alexander saw the sad expression that Charlotte bore on her face. He felt a little guilty for using such a sly means to tie her down, but he did not regret it one bit. He had announced to the world that they were getting married, and she had not even given her consent to anything.

Charlotte was able to remove herself from that situation and went to Alexia. The latter was happy for her until she learned that Charlotte never accepted the marriage contract. Henry quickly figured out Alexander’s plan and told his sister what it meant. Now, their family as well as the company, were on the line if she decided to refuse.
