Leonard’s ‘My Sweetheart’ is a billionaire romance, with a troop of the marriage of convenience.
The beginning of the book was humorous when our female protagonist, Kathy was on her 36th Blind Date.
This was also going to be her failed attempt where she eventually met the male protagonist, Dr. Joseph Raw.
It was both a happy and sad moment to witness their first meeting which was far from perfect.
Unfortunately while arguing with her date, Kathy reluctantly splashed coffee on Joseph’s super expensive white shirt.
Although it was a horrible start, along with our female lead Kathy, even I was mesmerized by Dr. Joseph’s cold facial expressions.
At this time, the author stupendously wrote detailed emotions of the characters which helped me to get in-depth knowledge about them.
However, it was shown that Joseph had a cold and an unwelcoming aura but the moment he saw Kathy getting drenched in rain, he offered her a ride.
So, it was quite evident from the beginning itself that he cared for her.
On the other hand, Kathy even after being attracted to him, remained strong-willed and maintained her noble character around him.
As the story progressed we got to see how Kathy’s mother was adamant about finding her a perfect suitor which added a humorous touch to the story.
Her constant wagging leads Kathy to accept Joseph’s sudden marriage proposal.
Fine! A marriage proposal made me excited but don’t forget that it wasn’t a regular marriage out of love or attraction but it was a marriage of convenience where both of them meet each other’s needs.
This is where the real and interesting journey of ‘My Sweetheart’ started.
Leonard deserves applause for writing such realistic and strong characters.
Although it took me a while to untangle the characters in the beginning after reading a few chapters- I found my patience worthy.
Sometimes the plot was predictable but there was never a time when it detracted me from the main story.
So overall, ‘My Sweetheart’ is a well-written, fast-paced, humorous story based on love and relationships.
It’s truly an ice-cold guilty pleasure, so I would like to recommend this book to everyone who loves to witness a sweet passionate love story.

Story Plot of My Sweetheart
Leonard’s, My Sweetheart is an elaborate and interesting billionaire romance.
The story begins with Kathy’s blind date where she accidentally met the male protagonist, Dr. Joseph.
Their first meeting was nowhere idle as after splashing coffee on him, she was apologetic and embarrassed whereas Joseph was equally annoyed.
After sincerely apologizing to him, she rushed outside the luxurious cafe. Although she found Joseph extremely attractive, she had no courage to face that intimidating man.
To her utter dismay, her car didn’t start. On top of that, it wasn’t her best day so it started raining heavily and she got drenched.
Confusingly, she turned her face to find shelter under the same cafe but the presence of that disgusted man from her date stopped her.
When she was standing there in a dilemma a black Cayenne stopped beside her, and the window lifted down revealing that attractive man from the cafe again.
Her face wide opened in awe but she hurriedly hid that surprised look. He offered her a ride but after not giving a single thought, she politely declined.
At the same moment, she saw a taxi. She was about to stop it when her heel stuck and she fell.
Joseph instantly got out of the car, picked her up, and put them down in the passenger seat.
Kathy blushed hard and after dropping her off, he went directly to meet his grandfather who was in the hospital.
There he promised to bring a girlfriend within three days.
The next day, Kathy’s mother arranged a blind date again. She went to the same cafe but this time her mind was occupied with the stranger from the last time.
Even though she was sitting in front of Bill Hilton, the CEO of Hilton Group, she was lost in her thoughts.
That’s when Joseph came and claimed that she was her girlfriend. After Bill went away, he proposed to her.
