The story starts off in a forced manner, yet it sufficed. The very first words were insults and other negative remarks on Rio as a person which spoke about him being adopted by the Havenglow family and asking why he was there considering he was supposed to be in Veras city for his engagement.
The unfortunate reality was that the family he was engaged to reject him entirely for having ‘no innate talent’. Rio, a rejected 16-year-old boy, walked towards the auditorium whilst having to deal with these insults being hurled at him.
He was relatively handsome, enough to make any girl’s heart flutter. He sat on the last row of the auditorium until his headmaster arrived. When he did, the fantasy element of this novel was introduced as the headmaster spoke loudly by using mana instead of a mic.
The Dhovrix race had invaded their planet and overwhelmed the humans, and for that, the class was being sent to the land of the Asuras for training, a portal was built especially for that. The land of the asuras had powerful beasts that gave them skills that were powerful enough to contest their invading forces. Through the land of the asuras, the humans limited the invasion of the Dhovrix race just barely.
The mission for the students was to familiarize themselves with the land of the Asuras, that was all. With that, gossip material spread around, and Rio collected his AI watch for the mission, wondering why the Havenglow family adopted him.
Entering the portal, Rio got a notification on his watch to teleport, and tapping on it resulted in him meeting with people from the Asura race with a look that inculcated he was their slaughtering lamb. Rio tried to run back to the portal, only to find out it was broken.

You can definitely find yourself in love with this novel if you read it on a lighter note, with lesser expectations considering it is a harem novel starring a cute 16-year-old.
