How fast can you run from an enemy whose power and influence cannot be fathomed? Arielle had to figure out an answer to this question after being kidnapped and sold, then subsequently left for dead on an uninhabited island.

Her mother had not survived the experience, and now Arielle carried the burden of finding out the truth on her shoulders. She’d had to live with complete strangers for years, and when she thought the person to save her had come, it turned out it was the opposite: they had merely come to finish the job.

Stuck on an uninhabited island for seven days, Arielle didn’t lose hope at all. Instead of sitting by and waiting for death or some stranger to rescue her, she moved to rescue herself. Arielle didn’t delay as she did what she could put together a boat that would take her away from the island.

While in the rain and In the process of finishing up her boat, she noticed something in the corner. It turned out to be an injured man.

Arielle helped him into her cave and treated him. When he woke up, he did not have the best attitude, but Arielle wasn’t bothered. The next morning she woke up to see a bunch of bodyguards in black. Arielle also thought she would fall, but she was saved by Vinison who scolded her for wearing the bad shoes. She could only swallow her retort in the face of the man who just saved her.

When Henrick, her father shows up acting all nice, Arielle doesn’t fail to act like the clueless and compassionate daughter, to keep up pretenses.

She knew her father was hiding something. There was more to the story than met the eye. She successfully made her father leave thinking she was the perfect daughter. Arielle was left alone with Vinison who asked once more for her wish. Arielle was already feeling helpless.

However, she suddenly thought that maybe he could really help her find things out with the influence and power his family had. Nevertheless, she soon changed her mind.

She quickly turned down his offer to grant her wish. The man continued to persist that it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and this amused Arielle. Seeing his insistence, Arielle joked about marrying him. Venison was rendered speechless, and Arielle thought it was done. But, the next thing she heard from him was, I can do that.”
