" Regency sucks" Yasmin thought as she got out of the blue Lamborghini, it has been two days since her interview went viral. Those blood thirsty bloggers had fun making things pretty difficult for her. "If it sucks,You shouldn't have gone for the interview Yas. I hate to say this but I told you so". Her caramel skinned tall best friend said as she stared at her phone screen. They both stood in front of the majestic palace, the servants bowed their heads dutifully at the princess. Yasmin frowned at her friend's words. "Did you just read my mind,you know that's invasion of privacy" Yasmin wasn't surprised at her best friend act,the girl has a way of being annoying and lovable at the same time. "A witch is making sure her best friend is in her right mind to meet the king. Why do you think he called for you?".The same question has been on Yasmin mind the minute they were on their way to the palace. They moved towards the king's study,she was sure she didn't say anything wrong at the interview. Most of the questions was directed towards her and her recent breakup with Casper Blanco her celebrity boyfriend . . "Yas,I think you are in trouble. The king has not called for you in months, what if this is about the interview." Vivian said with a nervous stare as they slowly approach the king's study. "Oh come on,it's probably father trying to announce the birth of a new child or maybe one of my brothers stirred up trouble". The two friends looked at each other," We all know who that would be" She thought and they both burst into laughter. . They slowly approach the door, Vivian gave her a encouraging pat on the shoulder. Yasmin slowly enters the study, her father was busy with his royal advisor Avery. They both were talking in muffled words and staring at the parchment. "If you are busy, I can wait outside" Yasmin said with a slight bow. Avery smiled slightly at the princess and bowed in greeting. "That won't be necessary." Her father said as he looked at her. It's been months since she has seen her father. Her only visit to the palace usually requires her been called by her father or maybe there is a royal event. . Her father still looks so young,his auburn hair still looks so enriching. The only thing she had of her father's was the auburn hair.she had her mother's creamy light skin,as of now her auburn hair has been dyed to blue. Another one of Vee's handiwork. She did have auburn hair but the rest of her was totally was from her mother's side. Even down to her way of thinking. "I have decided to take you to the requads.Seems to me you are not ready to get your powers due to some ", the King pointed at her hair " distractions…" ,he frowned at the blue haired princess. . "Father, I can't go to the requads.i have a life to live and I don't need magic. What is the point of all this?". Yasmin asked as she looked at Avery who stared at her back. Avery has always had her back, she was like the mother she never had. Yasmin was expecting Avery to have her back this time. . "You are the princess, and you have a responsibility. You have to be useful one way or the other, Nicola was there once and she is making herself useful and you shall do the same" The King said , and it really got Yasmin boiling hot. How could he compare her to Nicola, she just lost control for a while and she was sent there to get her back in her stable mind and protect her from ruining her family's name. "Father you are forgetting I am not Nicola, and I have no power in the first place. How do you think the requads would fix that?" " Cause they can. I wouldn't prolong this issue. Yasmin shooked her head in disapproval,her father has really gone insane. Who in his right mind sends his daughter to the requads. Yasmin stormed out of the study in anger. . Yasmin knew how hell-bent and stubborn Vee can be but Vee coming with her and leaving her family, friends and worse, boyfriend here is not the kind of guilt she hope she would be having. What if Vee get eaten there or something happened?, How was she going to explain that?. "You don't have to worry about that, I would pull something through".Vee stated after invading into her thoughts again. She moves slowly towards the group who happens to be her father,his royal advisor, Vee and some other people whom got her wondering what this people are here for. Vee moved towards her best friend and pulled her in a tight hug. This felt like the last time she would be seeing her best friend, Yasmin has avoided thinking negatively but it's hard. The smell of the wet ground filled her nostrils along with the citrus orange smell which is definitely Vee's perfume. She pulled away from her friend and stared at her father. "You would be okay." Vee whispered to her and funny enough it sounds more like a question to the princess. Still staring at her father would looks indifferent to everything, he probably doesn't care about the situation. It is all his fault. Yasmin edged away from the group and moved into the cave. The cave was so dark and before she could take another step, a huge force pulled her into a huge vortex.
