Prologue
“Eva, you can’t leave me like this. Our love is not so weak that it will get shattered in front of our families.” Jack said.
“No Jack, I can’t go against my family. I know, I am taking the biggest decision of my life which will never take me to happiness. I love you Jack but I have to leave you. You don’t know my father. If I went against him, he will ruin you and your family.” Eva said.
“Eva, I am not that incapable to protect myself and my family from your father. I don’t know who your father is? Just tell me his name and I will personally go and meet him and ask permission to marry you.” Jack said.
“I can’t tell you his name. I am not saying that he is a powerful man but for him, his promises are more valuable than anything else in this world. He promised his childhood friend that he will marry me to his friend’s son. If his promise is not fulfilled, he will kill my whole family and even himself. I love you Jack but I also love my family. I can’t put my family in danger just for my happiness.” Eva said with teary eyes.
“I love you, Eva. Please don’t leave me.” Jack fell on his knees and cried. Eva couldn’t stand seeing Jack’s tears and she ran and hugged him.
“I am sorry Jack; I can’t see your tears. Please don’t cry, your tears make me weak.” Eva said and locked her lips with Jack’s. After a moment of shock, Jack reacted to Eva and kissed her back. Their passionate kiss lasted until they both became out of breath.
“I love you, Eva. You gave me your first kiss. That means you will not leave me.” Jack looked at Eva with pleading eyes.
“Jack, I gave you my first kiss because you mean a lot to me. You are my first and last love even if I marry another man for my father.” Eva’s words kept Jack startled.
“Jack, I am all yours for today. Mark me as yours, Jack. Fill me with your love Jack. Give me the sweetest moments I could ever cherish in my life. Let’s be the happiest couple in this world for tonight.” Eva said and kissed Jack. They slowly melted in each other’s embrace and spent the best night of their life forgetting the world outside and what’s in the store for their future.
