"YEEHAW!!!!!" i say galloping on my pure white horse her name is snow i'm wrangling up the cattle into the pasture for the night my name is Alice wood i am 15 i live on the outskirts of Dallas Texas i'm looking after my parents ranch we also own several company's around the world so we are really rich so we don't have to worry about money in case your wondering why i'm doing this and not sitting on my ass doing nothing because i'm rich is 1 because i have always and always will be a cowgirl and i hate doing nothing and 2 is because both my parents died in a car crash so we have to do something or our animals would die yes we could hire people but were is the fun in that so it's just me ,my little brother ( Kane wood) he is 13 and my little sister (rose wood) she is 8. we have unusual hair and eyes i have white hair with a black strip and red eyes my brother has white hair with a blue strip and has silver eyes my sister has white hair with a purple strip and has gold eyes as i'm finishing putting the lock on the door i hear my brother call "hey sis diner's ready and you got 2 calls one is from the principle and is from the buyer" "okay thank"s Bro i will be there in a bit just finishing up here " he walks off back to the house our house is out in the middle of nowhere it is a ranch style log house with 6 floors there are 2 floors below the basement for my sister and brother they chose that and then above them is the main floor and then two floor above that the top floor is mine because i love the view and love heights the floor below mine was my parents but we made it into different rooms so we rent them out for people who want to come out and experience the outdoor's and from the main house we have the barns were we have horses,cows,chickens,pigs,sheep,and the donkeys then we also through out the property we have several cottages we rent out for people. i finish up and head back to the house and i open the door and head to the kitchen i grab a plate and start to put food on it and take it to the table and i sit down along with my brother and sister we start to eat when the phone rings i get up and look at who is calling i notice it is the principle "hello wood residence how may i help you" "hello miss wood it's the principle of Dallas high school i'm calling to inform you that there is going to be a transfer student and i was wonder if you could let him and his family stay with you i know you have those cabins that you rent out to people they cant find any where else to stay can you hold them up it's not permanent only until they save up enough money to pay for there own place" i'm dumbfounded the principle asked me for a favor i realize he is waiting when he coughs to get my attention " sure when can i expect them to come" "they should be there by tomorrow morning" "okay" "okay thanks miss wood and sorry for disturbing you" "it's okay bye see you at school Monday" "goodbye" i hang up the phone and head back to the table i sit down and start eating i finish up and put the dish in the dish washer i walk out of the kitchen and to the living room where my brother and sister are "who was on the phone" Kane says "the principle" "what did he want" "he asked if i could hold up a transfer student and his family for awhile. "what did you say " "i said yes i couldn't let them live on the streets and besides it will be fun to have new people here" i"i guess and your right when will they be here" "tomorrow morning so i'm going to bed you guys should to we have work to do" "YES MOM" they both say at the same time i roll my eyes as i head to the elevator i tell them good night and they say it back as i enter the elevator and hit the button for my floor when it dings for my floor i get out i head for the bedroom i grab my pj's and head for the shower when i'm done i head for my bed i topple on to my bed and pass out.
